Had a strange knocking and steering feel when coming of the accelerator today, checked the gearbox mount and the bracket between gearbox and mount has sheared right through, engine freely lifting!! Anyone had this happen before? And how easy is it to replace on a driveway?

Any chance you'd be willing to part with the bracket that joins the gearbox to the gearbox mount? -

Do you still have the gearbox? I'm just after the bracket between the box and the mount after mine broke loose today :-( -

Hi, I'll take the handbrake if it includes the leather trimmed handle with intact clips?

Oops, didn't delete the first bit, wasn't after the carbon question. It's this I was wondering about "As for GRP wings, not sure if they are such a good idea on a Corrado. Won't you get the front end flexing under load? Or are the wings on a Corrado not structural and load bearing?" Anyone know anything about this?

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Saw an m reg sherry pearl(?) Vr6 going east on m4 past Swindon, passed me at about 7.30 ish. I was behind you for a while, didn't wave because I wasn't in the corrado. Looked standard and very nice.

I believe it's the position and loom for some sort of cold start heater thing for cooler climes our something to stop ice forming in the intake, on uk ones it's just a blank.

Would you part with it all for £30?
-
Turns out to be more like £50 posted, the web page price is misleading, it adds tax and postage at checkout, a customer service box popped up so I pointed out that it was misleading and got offered 3% discount. It's a German company though and I forgot to ask if it was right hand drive version before ordering Anyone know if that part number is specific to right hand drive version?

Mine went rough as hell after driving slushy winter roads in Scotland once, turned out to be water in the connector for the crank position sensor. There's a connector block at the front of the engine quite low down below the thermostat housing, it's quite exposed and with age probably not as water resistant as it used to be. I died it out with a hairdryer, sprayed a bit off wd40 in it and it instantly solved the problem -
I'd like a set please! If there are any left.

No filter as standard but there used to be an after-market pollen filter made by jetex but I don't think they make them anymore.

Hesitation/misfire when under load, like accelerating uphill in too low a gear. Like clumpy said most symptoms for ht leads could also be coil pack. Could try the water mist thing, spray fine mist on coil pack and leads with engine running in the dark, look and listed for blue sparks jumping to the nearest bit of engine

I bought genuine disks from veedubmachine last year and they threw in the ABS rings for a couple of quid. They picked up a massive job lot of them a few years ago apparently and they're trying to clear them. The disks were much cheaper than dealer price as well.

Take the connector off the fan motor and Check if you're getting a current at to the motor when you bridge the stage 2 connectors on rad sensor. If you are then must be a motor problem if not then could be a short or the controller. Have you checked the controller fuses?
