Can't help with the link I'm afraid, just bumping it up as I'm also interested in whether the un-licenced vcds will do the output tests?
-
I found it by searching for blue and ideal. He did say "genuine reason for sale" though, I assume the genuine reason is the garage wouldnt give his car back and he didnt want to pay the release fee
-
Yea, expect the Ebay seller its just buying bulk from classic parts and selling on. But i had heard that stuff can take a long time to arrive from classic parts so Ebay guy might be worth it if in a hurry

Theres this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-G60-16V-VR6-RADIATOR-TOP-UPPER-HOSE-FLANGE-ELBOW-SET-/300865593390?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item460cfca02e Or classic parts have them.

Exactly what sprung into my mind when i saw the enclosed wheels!
-
I like it but personally I'd sacrifice a few mpg to not have the enclosed rear wheels. Don't like them.

Will take the sunroof seal please

I'll take the lupo wipers please. ---------- Post added at 5:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:29 PM ---------- Damn it, typing in my phone is just to slow! -
I had similar symptoms and same error code after driving around a very snowy/slushy roads in Scotland last week. Turned out the connector for the engine speed sensor (just below the 3 coolant temp sensors) had managed to get water in it. Dried it out thoroughly with a hair drier and its all fine again. Might be worth a shot before spending any more money.

Strange, not many pointless TV screens for pimp my ride. I'd expect at least 3 in the engine bay and maybe 1 underneath.
-
Got yourself a bargain there :)
-
If these havent gone already I'll definitely take them at asking price.
-
Think the heat Matts are still available from vw classic parts in Germany.
-
I'd check the wiring in the switch loom if i were you, if its doing odd things there's a chance its shorted, melted insulation and is now making a short circuit with your side lights.

Hi, If you don't mind, I've got a query about body panel replacement. There are few options for replacement body panels in carbon fibre or fibre glass now. How are these viewed by an insurer? If i went down that route i would be getting exact pattern replacements and would have them painted so they look original. Would this affect premium or is it the same as getting a steel pattern panel? ---------- Post added at 2:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 2:03 PM ---------- Hi, If you don't mind, I've got a query about body panel replacement. Done, send payment details and I'll pay now. :-)
-
Would you take 125 posted for all three?
-
Fair enough :-) In that case how much posted for both the maf and the elbow? And do you know how old the isv is?
-
Intrested in some of these bits but what was your reason for changing to obd2? Its just a lot of people seem to do it because they're fed up with lumpy idle, stalling and other irritations.
-
Fuse box to headlight switch with inline fuse on brown wire might go down well. Don't need one myself anymore but with so many melted ones around there must be demand for nice new and improved ones.
-
Has anyone placed an online order with them? If so how easy and reliable was it? Need to order some things but not sure which would be more reliable, classic parts as linked above or vw heritage. The bits I'm after work out about the same price from either although I'm not sure how classic parts website can work out delivery to uk for 26 euro!?
-
Sorry, can't offer any help but where did you manage to get replacement foam from?
-
Its all statistics, often doesn't matter what the intention of a modification is. If people who put go faster stripes on a corsa have more accidents than those that don't then go faster strips will increase premium. As far as i see it, if its not a standard part then its a modification. Admiral website has locking wheel bolts in its list of modifications, makes no difference to the premium. The cynic in me trends to think they will consider anything they can to avoid a payout.
