    Rad top fixing lugs

Thanks for the offer but it's just the lugs that I'm after, got nice shiny stainless L shaped bits but nothing to bolt it to on one side.

    Rad top fixing lugs

thread resurrection because I also need these. Anyone manage to shed light on remanufactured ones or have working second hand one they can spare?
  3. My girlfriend said she was followed by a "purple one" across Pangbourne toll bridge yesterday.
  4. still after these, can you confirm the condition? and that we're talking about the same bits. the funny metal bit with a rubber grommet that the rad brackets screw into. don't need the L shaped brackets though just the bit they screw into. Cheers
  5. I'll take them if they in useable condition? and any chance of a photo just to be sure we're talking about the same bits? cheers Gus
  6. have you got these? random item I know but could really do with at least 1.
  7. I bought a cheap eBay one a couple of years ago, it looked ok new but recently had to replace it again. after replacing it with a beru one I opened it up and found that it was an old unit that had been "refurbed", looked appalling after 2 years! beru one from gsf cost about £145.
  8. do you have the vr6 top rad fixing brackets? just after the bit that is effectively a glorified nut that fits through the slam panel with a rubber grommet around it.
  9. I could be wrong but I don't think you can get engine diagnostics on that engine.
  10. I've done that, didn't feel half as stupid as I did when I did it the second time :bonk:
  11. had same thing with nine, then they just stopped. motor was dead, demise was probably accelerated by lupo wipers but to be honest it'd done it's time. 25 quid febi motor seems to be doing fine now.
  12. Girlfriend spotted a blue L reg in Reading yesterday, parked on a side road just off the IDR between the fire station and the Vastern road roundabout. Just about caught a glimpse, think it was vr6.
  13. I find this first aid kit business quite strange. with any other part, like a brake caliper for example, a new one from vw would still be considered original and also desirable because it is new and fully working. First aid kits seem to be the only part to defy this logic and they have never even been unique to the corrado, they are not even the same across the years of manufacture. Each to their own of course :-), I have just never understood this one.
  14. vw still sell them, bought one last week for about 24 quid. And the best thing is in about 4 years time when it's all out of date you can sell it on eBay for twice what you paid for it  :bonk:
  15. Group buy on “WARNING, may contain NUTS" stickers anyone?
  16. Any one ran an aftermarket one for a number if years?
  17. its the delete pipe but I'm afraid I'm keeping hold of it now as its only matter of time before my new pcv splits again. sorry. might be worth checking some breaking threads for early vr6's.
  18. I paid the same as you were quoted, but it is just the valve. the pipe that looks like the jobby on classic parts is 021103493A vent pipe. 19.61 EUR. I've just inadvertently bought one of a forum member as it was attached to a rubber inlet pipe I
  19. Mine's just gone and need to fit a new one before the weekend. I believe the current vw part no is 1C0955119 and I've seen FEBI ones for about £20 and Topran ones for about £40. Either of these any good or is it best to stick to VW for this? Anyone know who makes the original ones?
  20. That part number is just the PCV valve, bought one last week. I looked at the connecting pipe on screen but it looked like it wouldn't fit because the airbox and intake arangement looked different on the galaxy. For another 40 odd quid it also wasn't worth a punt! I'm pretty sure I've seen a PCV delete pipe on VW classic parts. If I find it I'll post it up, that will be the route I'll go down if another PCV splits on me.
  21. Hi, I'll take the intake elbow and pipes please as long as there's no cracks. How much posted? Cheers Gus
  22. Nope. there is a dealer in Germany that still lists the repair kits for sale on their website. Can't remember the website though
