  10. If David is correct, and he's never been known to be wrong, then this one might do your job. It was removed from my MK3 Golf 2 litre, 8v when I upgraded to VR6 power and needed an up-rated pump. It's a VDO pump and the part number on the top is 1HO 919 051L Working perfectly when removed. Check and let me know. Postage is no problem.
  11. Is this what you are after? You can have the drivers side one, postage no problem. £13 posted any good to you?
  12. Yeah, I know what you mean, but at the price I thought I give them a go. They were really bought for my VR6 Mk3 Golf Cabby project but, if they look good, the Corrado is an option.
  13. Most of the information you need is in the close up photo. BBS JILs .... 5 x 100 .... 16 x6.5 ..... forged ..... et55 The missing link is the dead giveaway .... centre bore .... 56.1mm I saw these advertised on the local Gumtree yesterday at £200 complete with tyres and was intrigued by the 5x100 and the et55. I rang the guy who was selling them and all he could tell me was that the were BBS and he'd had them on his MK4 Golf 20v. Quite how he got them on and what they looked like was another matter but I decided to have a look as they were only 15 miles away. Prior to viewing, I did a bit of research on Google and eventually found a 2006 post on E38 relating to the exact same wheels. Apparently they were a Japanese market only wheel made by BBS specifically for Subaru. I'd guess they found their way to the UK on a Jap import Scooby. I viewed them last night and they are in amazingly good condition with only a slight milkyness under the lacquer on the lips. No kerb rash, dents or flat spots, so after a quick haggle I got them for £150. Current plans are to remove the lacquer from the lips, polish the lips, soda blast the faces and backs, paint and lacquer them and maybe some new badges. Fitment will obviously require 20 or 25mm hub centric spacers. As for the centre bore problem, I can either get them machined out to 57.1 or get the outer bosses on the spacers turned down to 56.1 which could open up the Subaru market should I decide to sell at some time in the future. Apparently the seller had them on his MK4 Golf with multiple, universal, non hub centric spacers and long bolts ............. scary! I'll post up some photos of them on the car when they are finished. As for weight ......... A 16 inch BBS complete with 215.45 tyre comes in at 14.2 KG, whereas a standard Speedline with a 205.50 tyre comes in at 17.4kg.
  14. The wires will be behind the wings and the plastic splash guards under the wings. You should be able to loosen a couple of screws which hold the splash guards in place and ease them away from the wings which will let you get your hand in to access to the wires.
  15. Porsche 928s ......... 8s on the back, 7s on the front. All wheels are et52 on 20mm adapters so the are effectively et32, just about right with no scrubbing front or back. 195x45 on the front, 205x45 on the back. I'm pretty sure the D90s are also et52.

I've just had a look at the spec. on these wheels. The 8 inch version comes with a standard et of 10 and the 9 inch version comes with a standard et of 20. Running these figure through an et calculator and comparing them to standard Speedlines show the following results. The eight inch wheel will have an extra 14mm of clearance at the rear but the face will sit 52mm further out. The nine inch wheel will have 9mm less clearance at the rear but the face will sit 55mm further out. Without major arch work I'd say you have no mission. Use the calculator at the link below to compare the wheels. Standard Speedlines are 6.5 inches wide and have an et of 43. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
  17. Fifteen will be perfectly OK. The bump strip are not load bearing in any way so there wont be a problem.
  18. The tape shown in the link below would be the normal choice. It's virtually impossible to put the bump strips in the wrong position as they naturally sit on the step in the door. Measure the flat part of the trim that sits against the door below the step and order the appropriate width of tape. Apply the tape to the back of the trim on the flat surface that you have measured, then simply position the trim and press it firmly against the door. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Super-Strong-Permanent-Double-Sided-Self-Adhesive-Foam-Car-Trim-Body-Tape-/250995195679?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Glue_Tape_EH&var=&hash=item3a707abf1f
  19. Check out the link below for a 'short shift gear lever'. Supplied by a forum member on an exchange basis, it really does make a world of difference. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=61985
  20. Fitted my custom, colour coded manifold. I always hated the missing corner round the oil filler so I welded a piece of 3mm alloy plate onto a spare manifold, trimmed it to size and drilled the hole for the oil filler. A coat of etch primer followed by high build primer, colour and lacquer and I'm well pleased with the result.
