I've just had another look at the Momo wheel and boss which you are considering and I think there may be a problem with it. I'm sure that there should be a brass ring on the base of the boss to pick up the power for the horn button. Have a look at the base of the boss pictured below and you will see the brass ring as mentioned above. The brass ring picks up the power from a spring loaded tab in the steering column and transfers it via a short wire to the bottom of the horn button. Without that ring the boss will not pick up the power to make the horn work. I'm also sure that there should be a lug on the base of the boss to cancel the indicators as seen in the photo below. Scroll down to the last photo. I'd think that the wheel on e-bay is Momo OK but the boss is unlike any Momo boss I've ever seen. http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=538667

That will work OK as the adjustable boss is Momo friendly. Basically you will bolt the adjustable spacer onto the boss which will come with the wheel and then bolt the wheel onto the spacer. You will probably need to extend the wire running to the horn push from the bottom of the original boss but that should not present a problem.

You will require a large spline boss for a '92 car, VW went from small to large spline across the range in 1990. Actually, all they did was to fit a sleeve to the small spline steering column which is removable with a puller. A Momo wheel will sit slightly closer to you but it will only be 'slightly'. An answer might be having a spacer fitted between the wheel and the boss if it really bugs you. If you do an e-bay search for 'Momo steering wheel boss kit spacer' you will find lots in different thicknesses.

As above. I had a similar problem not too long ago and a new clutch slave cylinder cured it. A sub £50, easy repair and if that does not cure it, it will probably be the master cylinder.

Check out the photo below. You need to tighten the black screw which is just above and to the left of the door latch on the back of the door. It passes through the door and screws into the door handle. If it is loose or missing, the handle will be loose. If you need to tighten the one on the drivers door you will find that it has a left hand thread and needs to be turned anti-clockwise to tighten it.
-
Check the trailing edge of the door and you should see a cross head screw just above the door latch mechanism. Make sure that it is tight, it locks the handle into place.

Check out the photo below. 7s on the front, 8s on the rear .............. 195.45 on the front, 205.45 on the rear. All wheels are ET52 on 20mm adapters.

The part which you are looking for is shown in the photo below which is of the similar item which is used in a Mk3 Golf. The Corrado one is pink in colour and the long tube part is 31mm longer. The Mk3 part which is still available will NOT do the job as it is too short and unfortunately the Corrado part is obsolete. The actual nozzle, which is the top part shown in the photo, is still available from Classic Parts so it might be worth your while giving VW Heritage a ring and asking about the tube. Failing that, your only chance is to get the original part from a breaker or from some-one who has removed the rear wiper. It is simply a push fit into the red plastic part on the base of the motor and runs up through the centre of the wiper motor spindle. The nozzle is a push fit into the tube from the top. Tube and nozzle part number for the Corrado is 535955985

Welcome to the Ice Grey Violet club, looking good but it definitely needs to go a bit. Check out mine below.

The sill trim clips that you have shown have been replaced with the two part clip shown below. The grey plastic grommet snaps into the hole in the metal sill. The white part slots into the underside of the cover and then pushes into the grey grommet. I've got three of both parts here and I also have three of the door card clips. PM me your name and address and I'll pop them in the post for you. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-SIDE-SKIRT-SILL-COVER-TRIM-CLIPS-GROMMETS-/191459948159?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AVW%7CModel%3ACorrado&hash=item2c93e6f67f

Check out the link below for a washer jet nozzle for a Mk3 Golf. The black nozzle is what you need and the Golf part is s straight fit on the Corrado ........ it simply pushes into hole in the top of the wiper motor spindle. The grey tube supplies the water and is identical to the Corrado part but the Corrado tube is 31mm longer so the Golf part is unsuitable ........... been there and tried it! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-Rear-Window-Spray-Nozzle-Washer-Jet-for-VW-Golf-mk3-Passat-1H6955985-/281098111495?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4172c0ca07

When I was doing stereo installs years ago I used thick acoustic carpet to trim boxes, woodwork etc. Available in various colours you would simply stick it to the floor, box etc. using spray glue. It will never be a perfect match for the original carpet but if you get the right colour it will blend in OK. You can buy short rolls of Autoleads acoustic carpet on-line and you might even be able to source it in Halfords or a car stereo outlet. Check out the link below. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MES-Autoleads-Acoustic-Carpet-Dark-Grey-70cmx135cm-60-03-/281528075962?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item418c6186ba

Rare/Sought After/Desirable Corrado parts - What Ya Got?
leon263 replied to Jamie's topic in General Car Chat
That's a great find, Audioscape went bust years ago and their pods, especially Corrado ones, very rarely come up for sale. The big bonus is that you can drop in 6.5 inch speakers which will transform the sound. -
Welcome to the Ice Grey Violet VR6 club ........ pretty exclusive!

The photos below might give you an idea of what to expect. The wheels are Porsche 928s in 7 and 8, et52 all round. They are on 20mm adapters which effectively makes them et32 and the tyres are 195s on the front and 205s on the rear. Obviously you are going to have a little more poke with your wheels being an inch wider and with the lower et but they should look good if you can pill it off.

Check out the link below, they are a Seat part but they are the correct length and the ends are the same. Corrado part number is 535 863 447 (now obsolete), the Seat part number is 1L0 863 447 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-IBIZA-II-TOLEDO-I-HATCH-PARCEL-SHELF-STRAPS-x2-NEW-1L0863447-/271713638194?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f43651732

Without adapters you will have an extra 31mm for the difference in width plus and extra 15mm for the difference in ET. That's an extra 46mm that the face will sit out. With a 18mm adapter the face will sit 64mm further out. I'd say either is pretty unlikely.
-
With 8 inch, ET30 wheels you will have 6mm less clearance at the back and the face will sit 32mm further out. Standard wheels are 6.5 inches, ET43 Enter all the details of the existing and proposed wheels in the calculator at the link below for an immediate fitment guide. Just enter the widths and use the plus and minus keys to alter the ET for an answer. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator
