  1. How about something as shown in the link below. It should be fairly easy to crimp this onto the remains of the loom in the car. Even better, if you can find someone who is breaking a Corrado and would be prepared to chop the plugs and a few inches of wire from the radio loom, you wont even have to work out what goes where as all the colours will match. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Male-ISO-to-Bare-End-Wiring-Harness-Connector-Stereo-Radio-Adaptor-PC3-08-/160993925013?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item257bfc5795
  2. I've just removed the complete 'in tank 'fuel pump from my 1994 2 litre 8v Mk3 Golf Cabby due to a VR6 transplant which requires a higher pressure pump. The original was working perfectly when removed. Not sure if it is suitable for your car or not but check the photos below and see if they look familiar. There is an outlet and inlet and a four pin electrical connector on top of the pump. Part number is 1H0 919 0511 PM me if it's any good.
  3. 22mm x 130mm as near as.
  4. Check out the link below. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLF-MK2-GTI-G60-JETTA-LOWER-DOOR-CARD-CLIPS-GENUINE-3a086730101c-/271125593781?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f20583eb5
  5. Link below for the Classic Parts available from Germany, all in German unfortunately. http://www.etkashop.com/vwcp/Scirocco-Corrado/Corrado/Karosserie/Innenausstattung/
  6. Anyone I know in N. Ireland with a classic car uses the company below and I have always found them to be very helpful. Give them a shout, they can only say 'no'. http://www.autoline.co.uk/Contact-Us/Coleraine
  7. I'm looking for the rear black plastic plug lead seperater ..... the part that the rear plug leads clip into. Must be undamaged with no cracks. I also need one of the large flat headed screws that hold the right hand plug lead seperater in place. PM me with a price if you can help.
  8. In the interest of cross border co-operation a deal could be done and I've always reckoned the marriage was highly over-rated anyhow
  9. Here we have a K+N cone filter, MAF, air intake pipe and custom support bracket which was removed from my 2.0 litre 8 valve Mk3 Golf Cabriolet. The filter has covered less than 500 miles, the MAF has been painted silver and the air intake has no cracks or damage. Internal diameter of the intake pipe at the inlet manifold end is approx 67mm. The support bracket sits on the inner wing and is held in place with two body screws. I ran this set up on my 2.0 litre, 8 valve Golf but it may well be suitable for a 1.8, 8v or a 2.0, 16v This is literally a 10 minute, plug and play job. Asking price is £40 inc. delivery.
  10. Here we have a set of absolutely immaculate 15x6.5 BBS RZ wheels. They are 5x100, et43 and are fitted with 205.50.15 Firestone Fire Hawk tyres, all of which have approx. 6mm of evenly worn tread. These wheels came off a MK3 Golf VR6, on which they were standard fitment, so there will be no problems with caliper clearance. They were subject to a recent and very expensive re-furb by Nu-Luk wheels in Carrick ( probably the top re-furb company in N. Ireland) and are totally show quality with zero damage. All centre caps are present and the BBS badges are in excellent condition. This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a set of show quality wheels which would be an interesting alternative to the standard Speedlines on a five stud Corrado Asking price is a very realistic £295 ...... The wheels are in Bangor, N. Ireland and I would be willing to pack them if you arrange your own courier.
  11. SOLD to CazzaVR .................. many thanks.
  12. Price is £100 plus £10 towards postage.
  13. I recently bought a Mk3 Golf VR6 with the sole intention of transplanting the engine, gearbox, running gear etc into my Mk3 Golf Cabriolet. Included in the deal was the manifold, gaskets and fitting kit shown above. Presumably the previous owner bought the manifold for the Golf and I do not know if it is compatable with Corrado VR6 engine or not. No doubt someone on here will know and I'm not too proud to accept advice. I have no plans to use the manifold so I am offering it for sale. There is no makers name on the manifold but it does seem like a well made item with continuous and even welds. This will be a strictly 'Sold as Seen' sale, so do your research and be sure it will work. Asking price is £100 plus a £10 contribution towards the postage which will be substantial due to the weight.

    Audioscape

Check out the link below for 6.5 inch speaker grills from Amazon. I bought a set recently and if you pop the actual mesh out of the plastic surround it is very very close to being perfect. For the price it's worth a shot. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Speaker-Grills-Universal-Fitment/dp/B0057OTW9E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1370369279&sr=8-1&keywords=6.5+inch+speaker+grills
  15. Passed MOT with flying colours. Had a look through the old certificates and I only managed 1055 miles last year but that's a helluva lot better than the 49 miles covered by the previous owner in the previous year.
  16. Passed MOT with flying colours .......... happy days. Just had a look through the old certificates. I covered 1055 miles in the last year ............. not a lot, but a lot better than the previous owner who only managed 49 in the previous year.
  17. Does the plastic surround on the internal door handle slide towards the front or towards the rear to remove. I've tried moderate force both ways with no success and don't want to break it.
  18. I PM'd him re. the bonnet but he was unable to say what make it was, only that he reckoned it was from Mulsanne Motorsport. Can't find them on the net.
  19. Sadly, the Beemer belongs to the guy next door.
  20. Been on here for a few years now but have never got round to posting any photos. Currently on my fourth Corrado, two G60s and two VR6s. Photos below are of the latest Ice Grey Violet VR6, 1994, 93,000 miles, lots of up-grades to my taste but all fully reversible when it comes to moving it on but I've no plans in that direction at the moment. Up-grades include Koni coilovers, Porsche staggered 928s, full stainless exhaust, all red rear lights with LED bulb modification, Spoonfed carbon number plate plinth, Lupo wipers ,headlight loom up-grade, headlight protectors, clear side repeaters, all new roof rails and under bonnet foam, BMC CDA, genuine Corrado mats, Momo Millennium steering wheel, stainless dial trims, all Daves16v trick stainless bits inc. the short shifter, Alpine head unit and Audioscape door pods. Probably more that I can't recall but I'm running out of ideas.
  21. A quick wash and polish followed by a leisurely cruise down the coast admiring things behind me in my recently fitted new mirror glass. Is it just me or do all Corrados go better when they are clean?
  22. Put my name down too Dave, can pay up front if required. Bob
