  1. Thanks yourself lucky you dont live up here, its been raining in Aberdeen all week with some serious flooding. Just as well I was in sunny Stavanger 8)
  2. Hi, Pretty sure they will but look for a post about the DG braided lines kit. Ive just bought one and they are good, will help with pedal feel as well.
  3. Only had mine for a about 18months but for any of you that know me I change my cars as often as I change wheels so thats quite good.
  4. Like I said heat always helps.
  5. There ok, rolling radius is a bit less though. Here mine with them on. I want to go back to 205's.
  6. Few folks on here got them but Im really into BM 3 series estates at the moment.
  7. Personally Id stick with what you have. 17in RS6's will be reps therefore not as good quality as what you have and no doubt a lot heavier.
  8. Spooky, just been thinking about getting one of these but petrol 328 or 330. Anything to look for that you know of?
  9. Saw these on ebay as well. Tyres are 215/40 IIRC which are a tad too big. What is the width? ET18 is quite low so I think they might stick out a bit.
  10. If the allen key socket is not fitting right they wont work, they rarely work anyway on these bolts. Get new bolts from VW first then attack with the Irwins. It saves a lot of grief. If you dont have access to a blowtorch then try boiling a kettle then pouring the water on the area where the bolts are screwed into. The heat helps break the connection.
  11. Im looking at them as well but some conflicting info on this thread on MkIvs forum http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/151116.aspx :confused4:
  12. Mine does definitely does that on agressive throttle usage.
  13. Complete agree here. Sound interesting.
  14. One of the few 90's coupes I replace the Corrado with. Not on looks but purely for that engine, tuneability and 4wd.
  15. Dedication for you. Have to admit though you'll never catch me cleaning the car to that level.
  16. Does anyone have a photo of a rear engine mount bracket from the underside? If not do you know if it has a solid flat face to it? Also when removing the central bolt do i have to replace it i.e. its is a one use only item?
  17. Dont laught but how about some sort of velrco type arrangement. That way you could possibly remove the foam without ripping it.
  18. There is a thread about one. I found that mine doesnt feel amazingly fast, it is faster than it feels though. The best thing is you can drive it on half throttle and its almost as quick as full throttle. Surely it must drive/pull so much better than your old engine?
  19. viewtopic.php?f=23&t=82449&p=954378#p954378 and if you still have that mount let me know.
  20. Will be interesting to see what the dash comes out like.
  21. Plan was to get a VT mount for the rear but I will still need to space it due to the modification PSI has done to the rear subframe mount.
  22. tts only taken a year but finally spotted a dark blue VR in Stavanger tonight. Looked nice as well.
  23. Mmmm, I need to rasie the rear motor mount, it angles toward the drivers side. Adding a spacer at the front mount will surely only raise the front up will it not. What did you guys do about you rear motor mounts then? Just use the standard VR?
