Brand new? Either a 335d or i x-drive estate or S4 Avant would fit the bill. If 2nd hand Ive got an S4 at the moment and its a very very good all rounder. In fact its for sale at the moment.....:)

Well it looks like the sale might have fallen through so car could be back on the market again. It now has 12 months MOT, around 1100miles since the last one. My add is still in for sale section.

Have them on mine and for the money they are good. Protected them with Denso tape and they were like new when removed, they have good chunky square threads so easy to clean up. As said I wouldn't compare them to JOM etc.

I just think the Mk4 R32 was all mouth and no trousers IMO. Its nice but its not special, certainly not special enough or rare enough to pay a premium over.

People seem to think the R32 is a special car, its not. It was too slow, too thirsty and has basically no motorsport pedigree which is essentially what you need for a good appreciating car that will be collected. Just because something has extremely low mileage doesn't make it a good buy, in fact I don't see the point in such cars. If you did buy it you wouldn't use it as putting miles on would seemingly devalue the car. There's better ways to invest money and whats the point in having a car if you cant use it.

Lol scrap that just as I submitted the post I got a text to say its passed. Not required.

Having some MOT issue with brake balance and suspect its the caliper so does anyone have a 288mm passenger side caliper for sale that is in good working order? Don't need carrier etc just the caliper.

Looks like a deal has been agreed but will be later in the month when everything goes through. There will be some parts left so I'll get them up when its gone. The buyer is planning on glass out respray, turbo etc etc so sounds like its going to be looked after.

It's definitely a factor. Always is when I try to sell cars but then it works the other way in that there are very few for sale up here.

Thought Id keep this going until it sells. Had the car in for MOT yesterday and Ive done about 1000miles in a year, that's criminal in my book and reinforces why it should be sold. Anyway it failed on lower ball joint worn and loos side repeaters, lol. Should get it through no probs. Here are some photos I took for the adds showing all the spares. There has been quite a bit of interest of late but for one reason or another no firm sales. Anyway might be updating soon with a spares for sale advert as most folk only seem to want the car.

Lol, every time I speak to someone about the car you reply in this thread. Some nice touches, I still think the plate is best where stock is. Interested to see what these wheels are.

I like the appeal of the Storm only colour with the blue I must admit and from a resale point of view its a bonus as people do tend to seek them out first. If you intend on keeping for a while then I wouldn't worry to much but as you admit on past history you will sell on fairly quickly.
