I'm 5'9 and when I had my standard cloth seats I was getting terrible lower back pain and had to keep fidgeting in my seat just to stretch my back out over longish journeys. Since fitting my leathers the back pain has pretty much disappeared!! The backs of the seats are noticeably more padded so I guess it was just down to general wear and tear of the foam.

Cat D is normally just an uneconomical repair (may have had a minor knock on an obsolete part!) so I wouldn't be too worried and if you're happy with how it drives and looks then thats cool :) I guess it just would've been nice to have been told by the seller really rather than them passing the car off as 100% legit and straight and you could've saved a fair bit of cash haggling him down.

The ABS light has probably been unplugged, maybe to hide the fact it has an ABS fault or it could just be something more innocent :shrug: The slow returning clutch pedal doesn't sound right... could be something as simple as air in the system or a common fault of the slave or master cylinder beginning to give up. I'm assuming you drove the car til it had warmed up to temperature? If the problems were still apparent when it was warm then you can't really blame the cold for poor running issues/lumpy idle. If I was looking at a 2ltr 16v for that kind of money, I would expect it to be in better mechanical nick than it sounds. If you're willing to tackle the problems, I'd haggle the price down quite a bit!! Good luck with the Corrado hunt :)

In Parkers, the RS is down as 6.2secs 0-60 and the ITR is down as 6.5secs 0-60 so you'd be correct in thinking the times should be similar! Just checked the Audi and Scooby P1 - 6.4secs for the TT and 4.6secs for the Impreza. Don't EVO mag road test the vehicles to get the 0-60 times themselves rather than going by book figures?

One time my ex was behind me in his Scirocco and saw a group of scrotes step out in front of me. I braked to avoid them but he swerved to the other side of the road to shit them up a bit (no oncoming traffic obviously). He then shouted out of the window whilst laughing "Not so invincible now are you? F**kers". Their faces were a picture - first fright then anger :lol: Probably not the most sensible of things to do but it was funny at the time!

RIPA 2000 is a law for official use, ie Customs, Police, Benefits Agency, etc. to look in to a suspect's private life for the purpose of prevention of crime just as long as they can prove they have reasonable grounds to do so/lawful. The victim probably asked in the garage for the images seeing as he'd just had his car nicked - I would've done the same! Even if the Police obtained the images, RIPA still wouldn't play a part in it as a previously uninvestigated suspect has commited a crime... in other words they weren't targetting him before or during the crime.

Cat B... that's structural damage isn't it? Like bent chassis?

I've got Team Dynamics on mine but in 17s. Only the rears sit with negative camber though.
