Hi, Getting some 280mm calipers for my 16v, was just wondering which goodridge hoses to get? Would it be G60 or 1.8? Or are they the same? Will be using G60 discs Cheers..

Anyone?? :(

Morning chaps, After a weekend of fiddling, the theory of "once one thing gets fixed, something else breaks" still remains true. Bleh. Any help would be much appreciated! One of my Inpro's lights has stopped working (Passenger side dipped beam). All halo's and full beams work and it's definately not the bulb, as I swapped the drivers side one over as a test. Also fitted my old headlight unit, which worked fine. I haven't got the old multimeter out yet, but before I do I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and found out what it was that was causing it? Any info would be helpful :) Also fixed my door handle with the awesome kit Dave hooked me up with (Thanks!). Kit fitted sucessfully, no problems there. However I believe I wired up the electric windows wrong (silly me for not taking a photo beforehand

Door handle repair kit..........THEY ARE NOW AVAILABLE

Finally got round to fixing my handle. Snapped a screwdriver on that pesky reverse thread when trying to get the handle off (d'oh!), but a success all in all. Great kit, highly recommended, etc. Cheers! -
Hi, I'm sorry it seems lazy, but I got bored of trawling through the previous pages for answers. I'm at work, and limited to secret CF browsing ;) Looking for a set of Coilovers for my 91' 1.8, Looked at Koni ones on venommotorsport, but says that its only for 1992 corrado's onwards, which is rather crap for me :D I've only heard good things about the koni's so it's a shame. So, what are the best ones to get for my C? Any recommendations? Pref Ride & Damp. adjustable..cheers!

Looks good mate! May have to give the combo a go, however my last wax experience was quite bad - was in a bit of a rush, got some turtle wax on my sunroof seal and roof strips which has made them turn a faded white! Still there to this day :( Slightly off topic, but does anyone know a good product to get rid of it?

When I find them, I won't kill them, I'll keep them alive...

Sorry to hear that mate...jealous bastards.. Other alternative is to find a C in the same colour that someone is breaking? :) Could be cheaper than a respray -
Aren't DDI or similar making a steering wheel for the C? Think i saw it on a previous thread, but it looked good!

Mine sits just under 1000 and its fine. There is adjuster located at the throttle valve housing, its basically a screw with a reverse thread.

Do you get a warm feeling inside............

Usually a good thing - although I have passed a couple of corrado's who have immediately tried racing me -
good job!

A beautiful example - cool 16v, too :D

Damn you, beat me to it! :D

You could get VAG quality Elring branded cam cover gaskets from GSF, shouldnt cost no more than £15-20. :D Good luck with getting it sorted mate
-
My etka skills fail, so I couldnt find it :( However, upon googling it there were a few mentions of a MAF sensor for a TDi. ASZ engine or something?
-
Yeah, rocker gasket. Providign the plug is "ok", you could clean the plug and cylinder and give the car a spin to see if it drives ok for a little bit. If it does but soon starts to misfire, then thats probably it.
-
I'm not sure about an earth connection, but you said the leads, dizzy are newish - I know it sounds silly but have you checked them? I only ask because I had similar symptoms on mine, and it turned out to be oil filling up a cylinder and fouling a spark plug (new gaskets sorted it). Could be a number of things tho - checked the hoses for any leaks? cleaned dizzy cap? I read somewhere that the distributor hall sender could affect it? not that familiar with it tho.. Also is your car kept locked up overnight? Once had a problem with damp causing my car to misfire, left it on the driveway the next night and the problem cleared! If only it was always that easy eh

Your'e lucky you chose Motorsport Eng, I did Mechanical Engineering and now I work in the petrochemical industry :(! zZzZzZzzzz...

Could be the ISV? Try doing a forum search mate, i think most of us have experienced some form of cutting out before
-
Thanks for the tip off mate ;) Edit: blargh, i think they got sold :(
