  1. try this press button 1 x times for the first digit of the code button 2 x times for the second digit of the code button 3 x times for the third and 4 x time for the four where x is the number so if the code is 1234 press 1 once press 2 twice and 3 three times etc

    golfs

the Golf Rallye and the Corrado G60 share the same engine more or less. the block slightly different due to the slight CC difference. The Corrado is heavier than a standard golf, but im guessing there is not much in it with the rallyes extra running gear. as for power both cars kick out about the same in standard form iirc. The Corrado Handles far better than a standard golf, but not having driven a rallye i cant say. One thing for sure, the rallyes four wheel drive system will get better power down to the road, all be it a little slower in the first instance. but once the wheels are turning the traction should be great
  4. if it hqas VAG in the middle if is an accesory part number from the OLD old old range. you can still get some of it, but is rare. cnat remember for the life of me what the make is. but its the same as VAG s oil
  5. personally doing the fluid i'd do the lot, if a jobs worth doing etc
  6. I had ABS and have tried various pads on my G60. I had standard rear discs due to the fact that the braking is mainly on the front. i had black diamond groved disc on the front, im my opion the best combo was that disc set up & normal pagid pads, i tried the black diamond pads but didn't like them. The fast road pads are good BUT they take longer to reach operating temp. so unless you hammer the brakes a lot, the brakes will be cold when you need them. When the system was bled did you do the clutch slave and master, as they are part of the same system and old fluid in there will just mix with the old, NASTY. Now with ABS the pedal is always softer, but you apply the pressure and your car with stop i promise you. Non ABS cars have less pedal travel, and the pedal is a lot firmer. i nearly put my missus through the window when i drove her 206cc with non abs brakes, just notused to the pedal travel.
  7. try changing the filter, that made mine very quiet.
  8. 4 doors its a new golf then isnt it!! ffs whatever next, no active spoiler
  9. do it, the cupra engine and box is brill, even the FR diesel engine is a muscle engine
  10. why does every want there C's to look like bmw's talk about an downgrade. the corrado is better than any bmw imho
  11. worth noting that corrados with ABS the handbrake light will stay on even if the handbrake is release until the ABS unit has done all its checks, mine normally goes out a second before the main ABS light
  12. I nominated the austin allegro, sorry argo cos it stick in my mind as a classic piece of bristish motoring poo!! seriouly though i bet the C wont be in there.
  13. http://www.delorean.com/VIN4754/VIN4754.html# project anyone there was one painted red on the costa del sol, had me fouled for abut 2 secs as to what it was becasue of the colour
  14. gradeAfailure, if you have the OEM aircon rad its huge and it files the hole where you would put a pipe through. me and ant in the summer looked at mine and said if you could get one made to fit in the lower bumper with the intro and exit pipe work at the same end you can use the OEM piping removing the OEM cooler. so basically you have the upfront cooler but long pipes
  15. the cooler depends on the rad size to be honest
  16. look at my pics in the gallery click on my pic below The engine bay is more or less the same, the Rad is the biggest rad ever on a Corrado, bigger than a Vrs even. the compressor is below the charger above the water pump. as for the heater its all vacum controlled instead of cables, but you can get round that.
  17. bit far for a training session, you need to pull up the 8 event recall on the program to find out what sensor it setting it off. the jack on the lead, i've never used. just plug the lead into your alarm, plug the dongle into the lead and then into the laptop DJ
  18. It looks good, its it was my C which its not, i'd drop it, paint the headlight surrounds to match the grill and add a Black VW badge front and rear.
