having just done my window regulator (replaced it) the glass is bonded to a metal runner, the metal runner is then clipped to the regulator, the runner is also bolted to the window regulator guide to keep the window secure and true

Right Well after coming back to spain after xmas with a bumper on the plane. i was off to a great start with the repairs, now into feb i've finally finished the cat damage, I've had the new bumper ready to go on for a month, but i was waiting for a new cross member. i wasn't happy about the other one being striaghtened. just so you know the G60 has two frontal cross members bolted in the same place, one for the engine and ne for the aircon rad and chin spoiler. saddly the cat bent the chin spoiler cross member. So today, Ive change the oil, changed the power steering fluid, changed the cross member, and fitted the new bumper. Best bit is, that the body shop let me do it, cos they are busy, so i worked all day in their shop, with a massive tool selection, (appart from a torque wrench). and the ramp to get under the car!! I can also confirm that spain is 5 years behind the uk, after 5 years of trying to get an oil drain and catch pan from the local halford type store i got one today. no more cut up oil containers!! The pic is off the old cross member, now replaced with a shinny new black OEM One

i replace the blades with polo ones!!

its all about what year you declare the car manufactured, I own a german rado, imported to the the uk and then exported to spain. but i know mines a 92 from the german log book, and the old V5 stated delcared man' 92

Dont connect the blue/white = Speed sensor feed wire to anything!!

kongo127, Is your boost dropping off before it pinks, if so thats good, if not you may have a bigger problem, the ISV should dump boost if the engine starts to pink. Basically thats one way of protecting the engine.

they always seem to stop me when im in the UK, i just tell them im not a uk resident, thats stops them fast as hell

98 super for me under the spanish sun, the g60 roars on that stuff

Henny, not if you poor it in slowly!! the tank pipe is smaller than the cooling system hose too

you fill the G60 through the tank, the air come out of the little pipe going into the tank.

aircon is great, especially with intellistart fitted

change the sump and get a new gasket on there. clean oil up and see if the leak comes back

Autosol ( the gold & black tube one) works a treat

Mines earthed back to the battery with a ultra low resistance cable, mine was earthed to the seatbelt bolt. but i was getting a slight tiny hum, earthing it to the battery stopped that.

if you drive the Vtec properly, in the power band it will see off a standard G60, My mate in the UK has one and its fast as hell. but most people dont realise you need to keep changing gear to keep the revs up in them and to keep the power down. Mod your G60 and your in for a good time, the g60 is very torquey, My advise is see G-werks for some serious engine checking and G60 tuning, remember to check the engine over before moding, no point in moding a bad engine

replace the cable and rubber gromit that goes into the pedal if the the pedal is stiff the gromit stretches and the cable will pop out all the time

bora's handle better than golfs, the jettas and ventos always did imho
