Corrado Forum Car of the Year - Original +
G60Jet replied to Shilakadaddy's topic in General Car Chat
I've voted for my fav, but i cant help but think my JET should be in there cos its still got OEM wheels and looks OEM!! and its MINT!! but hey i bet we all say that about our own cars!! But MINES RARE  -
Dont use baby talc as you dont want your belt as smooth as a babies bum!!
-
ABS Tip of the Day, if your ABS light is stuck on get down the jet wash and wash the wheels spraying the calipers, that way you rule out dirty sensors!! its done the trick with mine a few times

Remote start, is there a kit that does this?
G60Jet replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
Cos with remote start, that time you spend finding your slippers and dressing gown can be better spent sleeping!! Might only be a min or two, but thats a lot of sleep over a year!! -
i like its looks, but its still french.
-
buy a new one and the sender kit for it, VW only part iirc, but i think G-werks will get one for you
-

Hi Boys and Girls As you lot may or may not know im 99% sure im moving back to the UK ASAP depending on work etc. Just need to find a job in radio that pays more than i get know, that shjouldn't be to hard. Anyway, I'm in the UK at the mo so i've been out today for a testdrive in a Leon. Car of Choice after the Corrado. The G60 just doesn't seem practicle to me in the UK being a LHD. Anyway, I've already had some interest in the Jet from both Spain and here in the UK. Went out in the a Leon FR diesel, i have to say i was very happy with the test drive. Loads and loads of torque, a little turbo lag which after driving the G60 im not used to, but it when really effortless. Must add the response was certainly as good as the G60, but the nice G60 sound wasn't there. Might have to try the petrol Cupra but that FR Diesel is going on top of my list come the Big Move!! (pending a drive in a few other Hot hatches of course) Driving Position was okay but my arse needed to be lower like the corrado!! Anyway I'll see how things turn out.

Looks Great

it acutally reduces drag, because the flow off the rear of the car is far from smooth like the TT. as you can see from the photo above the flow is also sucked from under the car increasing down force. if it can be call that. the effect is increaseing the speed of the restriced air flow under the car making that travel faster to reduce and lift from the shape of the car. Basically as i have already said in this thread, the air flowing under the car is limited, so if you increase the speed of that air it creats a low pressure zone. just like slowing the air over the car. As for the speed it is activated at has nothing to do with how usfull it is, as the spoiler will have a min operating speed, the fact that it moves at different speeds reflects the fact that the UK speed limits are so low and it would never move

do you lot not remember physics lessons The electricity will always follow the path of least resistance, thus only spark at one electrode at a time (the one with the smallest Gap, as each electrode wears the path changes.

Dont get stuffed on the delivery charges, I ordered stuff from them and it was a $10 part that i asked them to snail mail me, turnup up 2 day later and my CC was $90 lighter.
-
have you checked the switch on the pedal
-
I've got an OEM TT one fits mint!
-
Did you sign a document relating to the finance company? If not i'd sue Chris Knott, as they have used your name without your concent to enter a finacial agreement. The finace agreement should of been with CK not any company regardless
-
I wish they made them in LHD

to add another twist to the lupo blades thread, i replaced my lupo ones today with slighly longer polo ones, i had to bend the arm a slight bit to get an even pressure on the screen, but they are even better than the lupo ones. my lupo ones did smear a little even from new. The polo blades i've put on are bosch ones not from VW btw. i paid €24.00 for the pair inc tax

Must Add that was recorded inside the car, windows closed!! may do an under bonnet recording soon!!

i forgot i was recording and turn my stereo on, sound good in the car but poor on the recording, (wrong type of mic)
