dude.... you really should pm me. I can't check all your posts at the same time! I have 2 ABS spec hubs from a 92 16v. Come over and grab one, don't want anything for it. They have bearings too, but not sure how good they are. You know where I am! :D Jon.

It's all about finding the wheel you like that does what you want it to do. I'm sure there will be wheels tha are small that fit over big brakes, but they're probs fugly.

Really? I thought that's exactly how they had to be. Lining up two dots opposite each other seems pretty logical to me.

^^ ditto that, true engineering talk! :D the higher your unsprung mass ( everything below the shocks) the more load you're gonna put through the bearings.... which were designed for 15s after all.

Noise going away when dipping the clutch would involve a gearbox shaft bearing imo. SO that's good that it's not that. If the differential id the problem, I would have thought it would get louder when you go round corners or roundabouts (at least the legal way!!) tbh,I've never been able to feel the play in a dead wheel bearing (or at least one only just beginning to howl) I think it's beyond the feel of human fingers(!) Mine seems fine but I know it moans. Anyways, feel free to drop a PM and bring it by. We don't have much VR knowledge, but we're alright at diagnostics.

i pood myself when I did my first engine swap - simple KR back into a mk2 16v. It would start but would never idle. ever. took me about 3 hours to realise it was the little brass screw in the side of the TB.... so I feel your pain.

I'm not sure anyone has ever had a quick corrado project buddy. Good luck with the grenade though.

if you make sure they are 800x600 or less they should display fine. I normally use imageshack and it lets you resize when you upload if needs be. sounds reasonable. Just hope you get the engine in and fitted soon.
