14 litres is only 11kg, so shouldn't make any difference at all.

You have email :-) Still need to find out if uni owns the intellectial rights to the design or not. Would be nice to at least make a prototype of the pump.

Handed in my dissertation this morning, well chuffed about it! 9th in the year and in a whole day before the deadline :D Happy to email anyone who wants it the pdf. It's 15000 words and 100 pages though so be warned. It's dry sump system design and optimisation for the VR6 engine (also suitable for R32/R36). Cheers :D

Could be the relay itself, but I'm guessing if you've swapped the fuse you have prob tried another relay too.
-
Amazing thread! :D

Why would you decide not to do an engine conversion based on the fact that the donor car handles like ****? does anyone on this forum have a brain anymore?
-
tbh, I'm not sure any of the engines the corrado comes with as standard really do justice to that chassis. I know I'd rather do a fred flintstone than drive my 16 anymore, that's for sure.

It must be spring - everyone is selling!

I find corrados work well as driveway warmers, and paperweights. -
lbft not lb/ft :D

noisy belts and pulleys on an 8v or 16v - try checking this

I'm confused how loud tappets are thought of as no biggy but a whining belt (which they will all do at resonant frequencies, even the cambelt) is suddenly something to take notice at. -
What's so good about 9a pedal boxes anyways? I have one kicking about.
-
they're oil too? oh my. I've found that accelerated wear happens when you drive the car. I've left mne standing with all the new parts on for almost 2.5 years and they're just as good as when I put them on! :D
-
No that's fine, I just wondered why it was loose :D thanks again.
-
you could only use the engine from the mk3 iirc. The subframes etc will be different. hth.
-
I'm sorry to hear you had issues with Amber. I almost bought a set of hoses from them for the 16v as they were quite cheap....
-
Emu, block and other parts came today :D Had to reschedule from yesterday with delivery man. Cheers for the quick delivery and well packaged parts. What was the engine from, or what was it intended to be? I saw the crank journals were all loose.
-
my thread gives a lot of info about the use of the POR kits. In summary, it's good stuff.

I think most people on here know about AVS, they're a good company. I know I have spent hundreds with them already!
-
How did nothelle tune it and what model do you have?
-
Kev, any idea which wheel is lighter out of the Rotas and Speedies?

Your username is amazing. And is made more amazing by the fact your name is Ian and not Greg. GLWS. -
Yeah I'd agree with Tom. Powdercoating is nice, until you get a stone chip and then the surface has been compromised. Galvanising is much better, and you can paint over the top if you want to, which is much easier to reapply that melted powder :D

I will take: block, oil filter housing, oil pump, oil cooler. £60 all in I make it? Obviously i'm paying shipping. Just confirming delivery quote at the moment. Can you send me payment details please?
