  1. Depending on the max load on the public weigh bridge, they have an accuracy of around 10-20Kg, so your car could be lighter than read out :)
  2. I went out last week in the new one, didnt think it was too bad for 1.6, I think they're trying to attract a different market by using the 1.6 and to help with the euro5 emissions laws. the 1.8 supercharge looks good though :D Lotus will be bringing out 2 more models next year.
  3. Jabba sport do them for £965.99 or you could e-mail AMD in Thurrock. I'm currently refurbing my suspension (but without the KW's) i'm replacing my bushes with poly bushes but not sure which make to go with, I have heard the cheaper ones dont last as long ast the more expensive ones, can ayone confirm this and i have SKF top mounts from euro car parts. renewing ball joints and checking the ARB drop links.   4. Looks in prety good nick, it reminds me of how i baught my storm home on the trailer. and also couldn't drive it for a couple of months, but that gave me time to sort some bits out on the car and personalise it. :)
  5. They were proberbly the low life scum bags from the melbourne estate that tried to nick your car. there always loitering and upto no good. on a good note, Steavens vw dismantelers over Borham way might have some bits to repair it.
  6. That looks like a oil pressure transducer for the VDO gauges, that go in the centre consol. Matt

  8. Torque for the cam cover bolts is 10 Nm Matt

I had a similar instance when trying to buy some paint, asked how much is 1ltr of canyon red, he says £12.50 i thaught bargin, ordered it, went to collect it was a touch up stick, oredered it again now £24.99, went to collect, it was a spray can, ffs asked to order the correct part now its £86.99. looks like they dont know what they have for what price.

  11. Check the chassis plate inside the offside wing behind the headlight and the sticker in the boot, which should have the engine code and the optional extras on it.

  15. looking on the internet i have found some reviews on the variations of the corrado against other coupe's of the era, where is the best place to put them, do we have a review/article archive to upload them to? Matt
  16. Which version are you using, serial lead or the usb lead?
  17. it's pretty impressive what you can do at home with sheet steel and still look OEM, one of my engineering teachers could beat a sheet into an egg shape.

  19. I started cleaning my storm ceiling with carpet cleaner then a vax to suck all the dirt out, but the vax was a bit too powerfull for the old cloth adhesive, and the cloth started to lift from the backing, doh, so i'm going to get it recovered soon. Matt

  23. I've sent a few bumpers by courier, just rapped them in buble wrap then cardboard and lots of packing tape. I have used both UPS and Parcel Force with no problems and only cost cost around £14. Matt
