What i find is that 24v's when running straight pipes etc have the sickest exhaust notes but the VR's have a crazy induction note. Any chance of getting both? Good question though, why is this? Even my valver has an awesome induction note (drilled airbox) compared to other 4 pots with induction kits...

I know what you're saying mate but honestly, i want a VR lol. I dunno, ill never feel satisfied knowing that i had 'only' a valver. Its not got the kudos that a VR has lol. I think the fact of the matter is, no matter how nice a valver is, to me its the inferior model to the VR and I LOVE my valver lol. I know i need to do the trackrods sooner or later so if it stays ill redo the whole front end... Ive just been putting off pouring money into it as i figured id be better off buying a vr and working on that. One advantage with this is though that it doesnt have widetrack so wide wheels are easy on the front lol. Thanks fella, im starting to feel less depressed now lol.

Thanks for the input mate, no doubt i wont make my money back. I bought the car for 2k in the beginning of 2009. I have since spent over 2k easy. Im advertising it at half the price, how much more fair can i be? I know what u mean about the screen though! If it doesnt go within the next 2 weeks ill be painting the wheels crackle black and if its still here in august ill be repainting the car and potentially VR'ing too. I dont fancy making anymore loss on it tbh lol. Ive been thinking alot about what i'd do with a vr if i bought one and to be honest the costs of buying one and doing it up to the standard of my car and the costs of vr'ing this work out to be the same. I guess i wanted a fresh canvas really!

The driving position (8hr drive, no back ache, 2hrs in my golf; suicidal lol). Seriously awesome cars imo. Shame VW cant just put them back into production with a revised 6 pot and mk5 suspension! Scirocco dont count. Has to look like a rado lol.

I have no clue as to what it'd be worth, at a guess 4k-ish. Maybe more, maybe less, depends on the quality of the respray too. If anything sell the VSR seperately and put the car up for 500 less. It'll be easier to sell that way i reckon. Can we see some pics of her?

Im not the biggest fan of R32's tbh, big soft things imo. Buy a 4motion, with the change buy a rado vr6 = Perfect!

Now, just as I was soo desperate for a rado 2 yrs ago (19 at the time) I am bloody gaggin for a vr... Like it's really bad lol. I dreamt about one last night. No joke lol

Go to a vag tuner and expect to pay 1.8t conversion prices so anywhere between 3 and 5k i guess.

Same here again, if i had the money or know how i would Vr mine, having said that, ive reduced the price as much as i believe is reasonable and have still not seen much interest so i might end up keeping it if its still about in a couple of weeks. Selling rado's at anything other than 'underpriced' is such an annoyance.

I agree, never owned a higher or lower mileage valver but mine with 128k on the clock with a solid history and good maintenance is a bit of a flyer imo for what it is... Mk3 Vr's are the best to toy with, they're either slower than i thought they'd be or my valvers got more than the 140 odd brake it should have lol. The owners always think mines a vr, then i tell em its a 2.0 valver and their faces drop, love it!

Me too, in the exact same boat. I love my valver, too me the VR is just more of everything which sounds pretty damn awesome to me!

Right i put the car up last night for 2400 which imo is very reasonable but then when i look at VR's and their stupid depreciation I felt like mine was a bit overpriced... So.. i dropped it to 2250 now, seem reasonable guys? I dont think ill even sell it for anything less!

Not even my Mum's 2009 Polo 1.4 TDI returns that much. What is it with diesel people and thinking of an mpg number, and then doubling it? I used a MK4 PD130 years ago through work and it averaged ~ 40mpg over the 2 weeks I had it. I had a 6n2 tdi and honestly around town it'd do around 40-45mpg and on the motorway 70 odd mpg sitting at 80-100ish... No exageration. My corrado does... :lol:

Wheels are Brock B1's... 16x9 et15 all round This is what i bought to replace the rado for now till i have more money... A mk3 tdi, painted by Stylehaus, tonnes of mods, but im sellin that too as i want a vr6 lol. You only live once eh :D If anyones interested in either car feel free to give me a shout, i will be putting up adds for both shortly!

Ok I'm not defo on this but I reckon the et30 will hit your stuts and the widest tyre u can really run is a 215/35 and even then it'll probably scrub. U need to roll the rears tbh.
