I don't know about cams but have read that the kr ones are more than capable. Add a 9a bottom en to that list aswell, will probably cost alot less than aftermarket cams but add a fair bit more power all over the rev range. Even with the stock cams and the above mods you should see a healthy 160-170 brake...

Cheers mate, il be honest with u its only been up on sale on edition38. Im trying to prolong it as long as possible, hoping i can find a job so i can keep it. I dont want it gone. The wheels are going though as its pointless keeping 700 odd pounds worth of wheels on a car that im not goin to drive for quite a while! If by the end of this month i dont have a new job i will put it up for sale on all the relelevant forums and autotrader and pistonheads at a very good price. :(

Oh man, well i got the above job, so decided to buy a mk3 tdi as a daily... and now the jobs fallen through and i'd already left my previous job so yes the rado is going as its the more costly and impractical of the two to run.... Skills came today to pick up the rear lights and i put some all reds on for the time being instead. I feel fackin heartbroken... cant believe im puting it back to standard after all the time and effort ive put into it.... The wheels are going next week, the projector/hid lamps will be advertised soon and then once the cars back to a standard-ish state it'll be up for sale at a much cheaper price. Im not sure whether or not to sell the weitec coilys as ill then have to pay someone to remove em, buy standard shocks and springs and get tracking and camber sorted which'll cost a fair bit.... ill end up with 100 pounds in my pocket at best so i reckon ill leave em on. Anyway, ive decided once i graduate this time next year i will be back in another ice grey violet rado but a VR this time... it'll be a weekend toy too as ill start workin for the family business etc so will have a nice daily to drive around! Too anyone thinking of selling, seriously dont do it. I feel sick. Like properly properly sick and depressed right now. Thanks for reading Abdul

Funny thing is, im the single worst mechanically minded bloke i know but i managed to change the ignition switch in about 20 minutes once i found the right screwdriver to get the tiny screw off (finding the right one took half the time!).... I dare not try do anything else... im yet to even service a damn car!

Bro just buy the weitecs, they ride the same imo. The ride was awesome on my rado when i first lowered it but i slammed it and the ride went down the drain but u get the point... if anything get the tx's.. u can adjust the dampers too then and they cost the same as the v1's. Just my 2 pence.

9s on the back with stretch is all good... roll the arches though just to save yourself the grief of getting pulled incase the arches cut into the tyre...

You're seriously going to struggle to get those on the front of the VR mate due to widetrack. Even if u roll and pull the arches u still have to run a fair bit of camber for the tyre to actualy tuck... Personaly, i say sell em or try to px a pair for 7.5s unless u plan on a fair bit of bodywork/stretch/camber.. Try tyrestretch.com for pics of various size tyres on wheels.

I know u did... Even once redrilled due to the vr's widetrack he'll need to run 195/40s like i said which'll end up giving some stretch which alot of the guys on this forum dont want. And i dont care what anyone says, rolling arches without paint isn't really viable unless ur super lucky. At that point everything gets really expensive and he might aswell go and buy some rs' for 1k which is what he actually wants. style 5s on a rado.. i really doubt wy906 is looking to run that much poke/stance. They're gorgeous but i dont think you can redrill em and if u can you'll need arch rolling with some 195/40 tyres. 205/40s would scrub i reckon. Oh and camber lol.

I never saw his paint in the flesh, but I know he repainted it once or twice. Mega fastidious doesn't come close to describing his attention to detail with paint! My paint is shiney enough I guess, but not concours standard like his! :D I have no idea what mine's worth, certainly a lot more than £17K in parts, but no one's gonna pay close to that for it, so I'm stuck with it..... what a shame :nuts: :lol: Corrados have shite residual value for some reason when modded... sucks eh! I mean look at mk2s, prices are a joke. Im pretty sure theres an R36 engined one for sale for 20k on ed38. You've just got to find the right buyer i guess...
