  5. I assume you went to SEM paul? I dont think theres many places locally, although I'm sure someone said that Sungold car audio place on scotswood road have started refurbing wheels (could be way off the mark there, just a half remembered comment!). I think my Dad used somewhere in county durham to get one of mums alloys sorted out, cost him £50 but there was a BIG chunk missing (council grass cutter drove into it!) I'll see if i can find out from him where he used.

  18. this's been covered before, the VR6 is a narrow angle v6, the 'R' stands for something german which I dont remember! granted the angle of the V is much less than most v6's but it is still an angle, making it a V.
  19. had a simular thing with mine during the winter since i was only going short distances in it, condensation builds up and you get mayo, which would normally be burnt (or melted I guess) off when the oil gets up to temperature.
  20. certainly not as much weight as dynamat then ;) looking forwards to seeing the finished article at a show this year (or as finished as it gets this year ;))
  21. insanity! wouldnt it be quicker just to dunk the whole car in the chroming tank and be done with it? ;) does the chrome plating add much weight? just out of curiosity!
