Revs: Mine does this sometimes but sorts itself out after a blast. Check all your vac pipes, does it idle right at 900rpm? Spoiler: Most likely problem is the actual switch in the dash. Nick

So my wheels are a bit battered and could do with a new lease of life. I would dearly love a new set more suited to the Rado but I can't afford any at the moment. Some rattle cans and a day with the masking tape I can stretch to. Surely some cardboard over the centre of the wheel covering the spokes would reduce the chance of accidental finger removal. Nick

Best option is to throw in an abf out of a MKII GTI and run it on the K-Jet set up already in your Rado. Can be done in a day and without the cat should easily push 160bhp. Get a 4 branch manifold on there and P&P head and you can be looking at 180bhp +. Nick

KE-Jet for the 9a but I've been told by JKM in potsmouth that although it has more gizmos than a KR on K-Jet all the ECU does is adjust timing still and that any replacement chip will give 5bhp gain at best. The fuelling is still controlled by the airbox flap thingy. Can you get Stealth to explain exactly what they do, how it works and what sort of results to expect as I too have a 9a and some money to spend on engine mods shortly! Nick

I have the same problem with the Rado! Nick Really? With the C3 you can see the windscreen wipers but nothing beyond. Muy peligroso. Yeah. I am only 5' 9" though and do have my chair set to it's lowest setting. If I raise it up I can see the end of the bonnet but I feel like I'm driving a bus then. My Mrs has worse problems. She's 4' 11" and even with the seat as far forward and as high up as it'll go she can only just drive it! Nick

I have the same problem with the Rado! Anyhoo worst car for me was an 08 plate Focus TDI. I swear it must have been broken as it had the worst boost lag I have experienced since my Metro turbo. Pulling away from junctions resulted in either bags of wheelspin or a stall and nothing inbetween. The thing was bloomin dangerous. Nick

It's great, so to celebate I actually treated the Rado to it's first tank of Vmax since I bought it and it's made a surprising difference. Vmax from now on me thinks! Nick
