    Interior swap

Yes you can. A straight swap for the window switches. The leccy mirror switch will be different though. If you do a search on here you should find info on the loom wires and how it's done.

    Interior swap

I will guess and it is just a guess that the main heater box behind the dash is the same for both early and late cars. It's just the controls that are different. If that's true then all you have to do is carefully remove the cables from the cogs on the heater box and replace them with the new round dial controls.

    Fog light swap

It is prewired so just stick a bulb in the holder. Only problems are the hole in the light cluster will be blanked over with a thin bit of plastic and there is no silver reflector inside the light cluster.
  7. Worth a try. Cheap to replace. And your front fogs do work? Or there's a break in the loom to the rear fogs.
  8. Did you check the cable plugs? A wire lose in the plug? Does your reversing lights work? Also try and stick a bulb in the left hand side bulb cluster. That works as a fog light too. The back of the lights will be blanked off but you can still just stick a bulb in the cluster and test it.
  9. I have one but Henny might be able to help as he's closer to you? http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... &start=105
  10. Well the one I've sent you does work. So if it doesn't work on your car then you know the fault is elsewhere.

    boot alignment

I believe the rubber bungs do just twist.
  12. Do the hazard lights work or are they the same? I think the diagram is the same as that of a MK2 Golf of the same age.
  13. I do. But have you tried cleaning the terminals and the plug on the circuit board?

    MOT Question

I have the standard headlight loom if you do need a replacement.
  15. I went to have a look and it's a very nice, well looked after car. And I think the paint job does suit the car too.
  16. Welcome! Funky paint job. Now I've got to pop along and take a look at this.
  17. To remove the cluster. Drop your steering to the lowest setting. 4 screws hold the clocks plastis surround in place. 2 on the bottom, 1 in each corner behind the slim plastic covers (if still present). Be careful in removing the covers as they can snap in half. Ease them off gently. 2 on the top on the 'roof' of the plastic surround. Get your head down, look up and you'll see them. Now remove the plastic suround. 2 more screws, 1 each side near the top corners. Once removed pull the top of the clocks towards you. They will be seated in place at the bottom by 2 'pins'. Pull your right hand side out first and look at the back of the clocks. You will see the wiring loom and a small vacuum hose. The loom is also cable tied to the steering column surround metalwork in two places. You can either remove the loom from the clocks with the clocks half out of the dash or cut the cable ties and pull the clocks out before removing the loom. Think that's it. All from memory so sorry if I missed a bit. Good luck.
  18. No you don't need to normally. Headlights will come off with the standard grille still in place.

    Help needed!

Well I'm no expert but that sounds like blocked injectors. I know you've already had them replaced but I reckon they are the cause. Anyway, where abouts in the country are you?
  20. Hi Smudge, If you are thinking of a tray that covers the whole scuttle area (wiper motor/ECU/Fan vent thing) like in a MK2 Golf then I'm sorry to say they didn't do one for the Corrado. All the car came with was a little tray that covered the fan vent thing. The rest was left exposed. There is a company that makes an after market one that covers the whole tray. Can't remember who but if you do a search on here I'm sure it'll pop up.
  21. I'd like to thank big ben for being a good buyer. Great communication, he turned up when he said he would and didn't mind waiting around a bit for the parts to be made ready. Plus the fact the guy is saving a car that most would have parted out. Thanks Ben :)
  22. Yes there a lots with late exteriors and early interiors. All late G60's and the first lot of 2.0 16V plus some VR6's came with early interiors. :dorky: :dorky:
  23. Or you can buy one from me as I'll ship to the States, if that's where you are.
  24. Yes the lights are early. The early indicators have those little screw holes in the top corner where as the late ones don't.
  25. No please bring your broken seats to the car park at Fleet Services where my friends and I will be happy to help you fix them :)
