I'd be interested as I have a set that needs doing.

Last one I saw for sale was in the village of Ockley, Surrey. But that must have been 2+ years ago.

Man I'm a magnet for them at the moment. Saw another two today in West Sussex: 4:30pm on the A281 going south from Cowfold a nice green 16V? on a K plate. Lovely black wheels, nice stance but crap rear lights. Shame as they spoil the car. Then parked up in Smole Dole was another green one, this time a VR6 on an M plate. Looked standard apart from the wheels.

6:15pm this evening a lovely looking clean white C on an H plate coming into Worthing on the A27 from the Chichester direction. Somebody been to JMR or G Werks today?

Cheers Joe. Glad you enjoyed the trip :)

Nice. ABS light on at 60? Interesting. And with Jobs To Do maybe lower it a little? It's a great looking car and of course, welcome!

Thanks BTJ. And thanks for the prompt and efficient payment from yourself.

Mice. It could be worse. I once bought a car that a dog had been living in. A wet dog at that. The hairs, the smell, so over powering. Made me want to :pukeleft: each time I opened the door.

Mark. Nick. Thanks guys.

Our fogs, front and rear, work off their own switch and not off the headlight switch. Early switch is a two position rocker whilst late are two separate push buttons in the same switch.

There is a round plastic clip that fits around the base of the gearknob that you clip into place after the top of the gaitor is pressed up against the base of it. That holds it in place.

In a nutshell there are minor differences to the switchgear. The front doorcards are totally different. Early cars have the leccy window switches in the actual doorcard whilst late cars have them in the door pod. You have a '91 car so you will have an early interior unless somebody has already changed it for a later one. But as Typhy says, do a search and all will be revealed.

A thanks to raddovr6 for making that one of the quickest and easiest sales I've done.

You buy one from me :)

Measure how much the arch sticks out over the top of the wheel. The late 'VR6' wing is wider/fatter/sticks out more than the early wing.

Exactly what I did, early grey for late black. It's not hard to do. Just take your time. There are lots of cable ties holding looms in place behind the dash and little hard to get at screws holding the dash in place. And don't forget a 10mm spanner to remove the two bastard nuts from underneath the top of the bulkhead in the area where the wiper controls sit. These two hold the dash against the bulkhead. They're swines to get at.

Wipers - Fuse position 5 Do the washer jets still squirt? They work off the same fuse.

Not too much trouble and can be done in a day. Well it took me a day to do mine :) Give yourself lots of working space, get the doors fully open and away you go. Do a search on here and I'm sure you'll find the info but basically you will need: Later electric window switch door looms - These unplug inside the A pillar. Or you can chop the ends off your old window switch door looms and graft the new plug ends on. Later door mirror switch adjuster loom - This unplugs inside the A pillar too. Or chop the end off but the new plug end is not a straight swap for the old as the wires are different. Do a search on here for the wiring diagram. ABS, HRW, Fog looms - If you are going to use the later dash switches you'll need the looms for them too. Easy to unplug from the fusebox and swap over. Headlight Loom - I don't think you have to change this as the early one can still be used. Heater controls - The later rotary dials panel is larger than the early slide control panel. I kept my old slide controls but made up a metal plate to fit behind it so it would fit in the larger hole in the dash. Late door opening handles - The black plastic handle you pull when inside the car to open the door. The late ones are a different shape to the early ones and will have to be replaced if fitting later door cards. I think that's it but use the search and you may find something I've missed.

A thank you to smithy220 for keeping hold of the parts until I was in his area and could collect. Appreciate that. And of course to Henny for the bits I collected from him. Again he held them for me until I was in the area. Plus he showed me that you can put a Corrado bonnet in the back of a Corsa  My it was a bugger to get out though :) And finally to daves16v for the handle repair kit. What a great fix!

Remove your existing passenger seat from the car. Fold your rear seats down. Leave your parcel shelf at home. Put new leather seat where passenger seat normally is. Put the seat back so it's flat. Do the same for the other leather seat and rest on top of the one in the passenger side. Put the rest of the new interior in the back of the car.

You lucky chap. Replacing number 18 did nothing for my problems.

I think the Golf one is smaller so won't fit. Or it might be the other way around. But either way a MK2 Golf one does not fit in a Corrado.

You are not alone with this. I bought a basket case 2.0 16V with similar problems- 1. Main beam always on. 2. Wipers start when you 'flash' main beam. 3. Squirt water on the windscreen and main beam comes on at the same time. 4. Wipers would come on whilst driving along and not stop unless ignition switched off. 5. Washer jets would squirt water whilst driving along and then stop without touching anything. And on top of that lot ABS works 'pumping' the brakes without touching the pedal. I was starting to think the car was posessed. Electrics are shagged. Fixed the main beam with a new headlight switch though. So interested how you get on.
