  1. Yes, it's a JVC and has dab and USB. The aerial is mounted on the inside of the window.
  2. Damn, I should have photoshopped some lms and the LFR plate onto that picture and saved it for April Fool's Day! :)
  3. Had a modified 3 series BMW reving away behind me in the town centre, so I pootled out to the ring road and then unleashed the beast. After watching him disappear in the rear view, he caught up at the traffic lights and said 'wow! is that a 20vt?' Had a quick chat then gave him a demo of the 4wd launching and he was loving it!
  4. Haha I know, I would never do it. Maybe one day if I get a daily rado with ruined paintwork I might give it a go. They do have a batmobile look to them in matt.
  5. I love matt black Corrados! Think I'd get disowned by the forum if I did it to a perfectly good Blackberry paintjob though...
  6. And now standing on my mates balcony in Sheffield getting pi**ed and I spot this! Blue rado with 'vwc' plate with roof bars, in a car park opposite.
  7. Saw a lovely nugget g60 on the m42 today. We followed in the a3 until it turned off towards Tamworth.
  8. Those videos don't really do the noise justice- the camera got wet a few years ago during a kayak mishap and it's never recorded audio clearly since then. I will try and get some clearer ones when I can, and some inside ones. Glad to see it has inspired you to give yours some attention again! I do miss not knowing the internals on this car like I did on the G60 as I had done a lot of the mods myself- must be nice having one you've really built up yourself.
  9. Looked great at Coombe. I love black corrados, especially when they are this cared for!
  10. I know plenty of people on here have strong opinions about speed cameras but I'm sure you can see the funny side of this: http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/arseholes-who-think-theyre-good-at-driving-celebrate-speed-camera-victory-201007262943
  11. on the vrt: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/483976_601312365784_1182875176_n.jpg http://the-corrado.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=68056&d=1341666344 on the G60: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=552292327334&l=7fd55557b2 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=569416445464&l=32ca99d844 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=569416480394&l=f165efa8ad http://the-corrado.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=64481&d=1338318615
  12. For those who have asked 'what's the mpg', I know I have been saying 'I don't want to know' but having refilled both before and after the trip down to Combe, I worked it out. Just on 20mpg with a mix of A roads and motorway :( It's about what I expected to be honest and I could certainly drive it more sensibly if I had to. But then why would I want to do that?!
  13. Get the chrome ones and then get subtle tint lamin X- I've done it on mine and it deblings them nicely and protects them. The light output with some good bulbs and an uprated loom is great.
  14. Looks great, making me miss my Moonlight Blue G60 :(
  15. Glad you enjoyed it, you will have another chance to look over it again at Berkeley Castle after a bit of your own research. I'd love to see the video if you have a sendable copy- I'd appreciate it not going up publicly anywhere for obvious reasons ;)
  16. Just a word of warning- the red/clear rears let water in around the edges and after a few months they get a horrid green layer of algae that is impossible to clean. If you get a brand new set there might be a way to seal them and stop this happening. I switched to smoked rears and got the ARZ ones from German ebay as they are better quality.

Wow, I thought I payed a lot for mine... I'm sure it's worth every penny and there are still people that want cars like this. I know Oz was surprised by the amount of people interested in his when I got it, as he expected it to take months (or not to sell at all). I even bumped into a few people at Combe yesterday who said they were considering buying the vrt when it was up. If it really is a one of a kind then it has a good chance of selling. Unfortunately, a lot of people with a half decent Corrado see things like this and thinks 'mine has 90k on the clock, good paintwork and some nice mods- must be worth loads!'
  18. I should be there about 9.45, car's going to be filthy!
  19. I don't need to get away from Combe early now, so you can take your time having a good look over it. Bring your camera!
  20. Wise words- Feelings and situations can change quickly and it would be good to still have a sellable car at each step. I'm sure you know this already but even a VR with tens of thousands of pounds spent on it is still not an Evo, GTR, R8 etc. and never will be. If you want a very fast road/track car with big numbers and the ability to smoke nearly anything else on the road then there are cheaper ways of doing it. However, if you want something close to that but is still a Corrado... then do it. That was the reason I bought mine- I honestly think they are best looking and classiest car around and the upgrades you are talking about will really modernise it and give you a LOT of fun. Your situation is different from mine in that you have the space, knowledge and confidence to do it yourself. I lacked all that, so waited around for the right car to come along and looking at original build cost I'm glad I did!!!
  21. Ye it's this Saturday. I have to leave Combe at about 3.30 so hopefully you can make it before then. If we are allowed to go in and out (guessing not) I will take you out in it too.
