  1. This happened to me the other week, sealed the membrane with black silicone sealant, the next couple of days and it was damp after heavy rain but strangely has not been wet since despite the downpours of late?!
  2. Ah might need a bit of passenger side also, I may as well have more than I need so how much for the passenger side arch cut? I can email you or txt if easier the area I need:-)
  3. Been let down with the cuts so still looking.. anybody?
  4. Ok I'll see what I can do
  5. Ok, now you've opened a can of worms as I may need a tailgate also, is it the same storm grey paint code by any chance:-)? What base car is it, 16v vr6? Ill pm you some details
  6. Thanks for the tip:-D and nice to hear they are not a soft ride;-)
  7. Yep, we went out for a drive in it on sunday, one look back at the car in the car park and i knew it wasn't going anywhere! love the colour and the interior so i think i'll pile some money into her, watch this space:-)
  8. Sorry just seen your in crewe, not too far but far enough!
  9. Ok, i need ideally just above the arch where the flare comes out from the quarter panel if you know what i mean so basically the whole arch and an inch above it, and i may as well have the the whole arch from sill to bumper, dont need all of it but better had. What colour car will they be cut from? irrelevant i know, maybe i could send you a pic of what i'm after? i only really need the front arch face but better to be safe than sorry. Also i take it the arches are rut and dent free? Where are you? and whats the charge for cuts and postage, cheers
  10. Well a bit of searching reads that ap is kw's budget brand and they are made by kw, comes up quite alot too, i think they are my best bet and the price isnt too bad!
  11. I'm after a drivers side rear arch and maybe the passenger side also for a 93 corrado, arches need to be completely free of rust, would prefer to collect and I am in Worcestershire. cheers matt
  12. Thanks for the link, not come across st though?
  13. So the ap's any good? sure someone said they were made by kW? I'm liking the price £380 delivered:-) I can live without dampening adjustment can't i, just worried they would be too soft?
  14. Just enquired and they said they fit the vr6 but will also fit lower models? seems a good price but would of liked the dampening adjustment. Cheapest coilovers with dampening adjust are £599 for the ap's or spax at £580, I've always heard good things about spax, had them on a 309 gti years ago
  15. What about these ap coilovers? trouble is they are listed as fitting all corrado models?? surely they would be vr6 specific? also it states front axle weight of 950kg Does this sound about right, might just ring them and ask http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufacturer_product.php?manufacturer=AP&category=suspension&product=Coilovers&make=VW&model=Corrado
  16. Agreed, looks spot on but definatly no lower!
  17. Yeah i think my old green car was too low and in turn made it skittish and just didn't feel quite right, my grey one on standard suspension feels alot better to drive. So stay away from kw v1's? i think the v3's are £800+ so thats getting a bit steep:-( I had bilstein/eibach struts on an impreza which were v very good, but i would like to try some coil overs this time around, dont mind too hard a ride for a weekend toy.
  18. I am looking to drop the height a little jim, one day i might have a corrado and leave it alone as the ride is so nice at the mo with the standard suspension. Have heard good things about kw so may go with those, had the koni ta's with h&r springs on my old green rado which has just been offered back to me, trying really hard not to buy it!
  19. Cheers, the kw's look a good bet from demon, cant find weitecs that cheap though
  20. Which coilovers to people recommend these days? I've got to spend some £££ on the vr so i'm on the hunt. I've seen the ap ones on awesome gti, i take it the JOM's on ebay are a no no? (cheap though!) kw's seem quite expensive, looking at spending £500 or less preferably
