Yeah from the pics it doesn't look too bad but the rear arches are not the best, also a couple of marks elsewhere, ill post some pics up to show the condition and how much £££ wonga it's gonna cost me!:-( And I do love the colour, enjoying the car standard as well at the mo, I must be getting old!

Yeah it's going well thanks, I've sorted the passenger side leak now and fitted a replacement sunroof, but today have found a small drivers side leak which I think is the door membrane as I had a line of water/drip mark inside the corner of the drivers door, kick plate area, will sort this over Christmas. Oh and my 4 and a half year old son has nicknamed the car sonic now! Had a day off today so took the vr out for a drive to walk the dog with the misses up to the malvern hills, car went great:-) Will be throwing some £££ at the bodywork in the new year now but might be fitting some koni/H&R shockers on the car over Christmas Here's a couple of pics from today

Thanks rog, its definatly high up on my favourite corrado colour list, and i've had a few:-) And the moonroof was not an option i'm lead to believe? all corrados came with a steel sunroof as far as i know. I have just fitted a sunroof from a golf mk3 vr6 which fitted fine and i think the glass panel is from a passat. It all looks very factory though once fitted even with the slatted sliding interior sunroof cover and i have no wind noise despite what ive read about moon roofs. Mk1 sounds better than it looks, especially from inside the car!

Well I got the golf mk3 sunroof fitted, had to space the frame down a little and also used the glass panel that was originally in the car. But got it all in and lined up and tilts and slide fine, very pleased with myself:-) Then poured water over the car to check for leaks and found none so fingers crossed it'll stay dry, then I had to put all the interior panels/trim back into car and remember where everything went! Mk3 sunroof with my original glass panel Sunroof fitted:-) Then the lovely job of putting everything back together including the very fragile roof lining Mates mk1 golf vr6 with nitrous and also 400 bhp impreza
  6. I got the golf mk3 roof fitted the other night, had to use a couple of washers here and there to space the frame down a bit and also used the glass from my other sunroof which originally came fitted in the car. The golf mk3 glass panel fitted but not quite as well as the other panel so I swapped them round, ill post some pics, oh and no wind noise:-) yet!
  7. Oh maan, i really like these! i dont think i'll ever find any 16" speed lines and these are the next best thing, must resist

Ha ha, hi edd, I've asked him too! And it's been in my mates garage for months now as it's being fixed. Things all good thanks, and your old girl went to a chap who lives in the same street as me, I got a new wing on her and got the rear arch done and also black leather interior but I just couldn't stop the screen leaking so I let it go to melv who is a mechanic and is keeping the car as he loves it, kinda kick myself for letting it go really as it was a good car, just walked past it with the dog and miss it really:-( Hope the storms going well:-)

Bought this a few weeks ago, yeti sb66 carbon, fox 36's, xt, crossmax sx with tubeless high rollers Pedals really well and gets better the faster you point it down:-) It might be why I can't afford to take my corrado to the bodyshop though:-(

Thanks portent, i've admired your car a few times, very nice, and mine will be nice when i've finished with it:-) Fitting a replacement sunroof today from a mk3 golf and then getting all the interior trim back in, then will probably tackle the body work after christmas now

    Nice VR

Agreed, but i would of took the car somewhere nice and treated it to some nice photos, not blurry ones still sitting in its bath water. Looks a genuine sale though!
  12. Thanks for the feedback, this is what i wanted to hear:-) and the glass panel i've removed from my corrado seemed to fit just fine, so if the golf glass doesn't sit well enough i'll just swap the panels round
  13. Well i purchased a sunroof out of a mk3 golf vr6 today, even watched the lad get the sunroof out, but did bring some tools just in case;-, gotta love old school breakers. So fingers crossed i'll get it to fit tomorrow, i'll report back..
  14. I suppose the coilovers would be spring rated to a g60? would they go on a 93 vr6?
  15. Great story, would love an r32 lump in mine:-) And can relate to the above as the corrado vr6 was the first proper quick car I ever got to drive and it was my mates dads, twighlight violet with grey heated leather, never forget that day when he let have a go! then I saved and sold to by my first vr at 22/23, 37 now and back in one again! Bills, four year old boy but still find time to tinker with the corrado;-)
  16. That must be what i have in mine, do you have a photo of the cartridge and motor? and how much are you after?
  17. Cheers clumpy, thats the same as my donor sunroof, not like the one i have in my car, i'm hoping a golf mk3 sunroof will fit!
  18. Having a nightmare trying to sort my sunroof and am lead to believe that i can use a golf mk3 sunroof in my corrado? I've just found one on ebay which is identical to the one i have removed from my corrado so has anybody fitted a mk3 golf sunroof successfully to thier corrado?, just don't want to waste money on the wrong part cheers matt
  19. Thanks, just found out its a manual version though, I wonder if I could fit my electric motor to it? Didn't think if have this much trouble trying to sort the sunroof:-(
  20. Ah right so I could use a mk3 golf sunroof also then?
  21. I'm after a late interior corrado sunroof mechanism with frame etc, I have a glass panel and motor but would consider the whole thing cheers matt
  22. I have found a seat Ibiza sunroof from a 1998car and have read that this will fit the corrado, anybody know if it will? cheers
  23. Is the sunroof sold? if not is it full operational and how much££
  24. thing is all the corrado motors I've looked at don't plug into my wiring inside the car? so the early 92 And I cannot use the motor I removed from my sunroof and use it on my donor sunroof as the motor does not fit! I think I'll try and source a passat sunroof for 96-98 or I've heard a seat Ibiza sunroof is also a direct fit. Still really confused what I have in my car??:-(
