If you get stuck I can supply a Bonnet Catch that has been stripped and re-zinc plated, so as new - Also got the 2 x Bonnet Pins as well. Let me know? Ian.

They look like early door cards as the window switch is on there Jez, but also have late door pockets with the switches there too! Ian.

Agree John, that is what I used - Took about 3 hours from start to finish including polishing the paintwork afterwards! Ian.

Az Sean stated, all VR6's have the + Axle but they changed the Spring Plates sometime in the production cycle of the car. Ian.

The metal one Jim is the MK4 Golf version, raises the compression ratio up to about 10.5/1 for a few extra BHP - I have it fitted to mine. Ian.

Got it MOT'd with just the "usual" advisory for a chip in the windscreen, so all sorted for another 12 months. Emissions results were: Fast Idle - CO @ 0.08%, HC @ 14 PPM and Lambda @ 1.00 Natural Idle - CO @ 0.03% Seem good for an engine with 227K+ on it, so happy! Ian.

Treated it to a new set of Bosch Wiper Blades from ECP, filled it with Tesco 99 Octane ready for next weekends AGM and then went for a drive. Came back with a smile on my face, so washed it as well whilst the weather is good!! Ian.
