Apologies for hijacking this thread, but I have had fitted today a custom 304 stainless catback system in 2 1/4 inch pipe so my magnex (?) 3 piece system will be up for sale shortly, hopefully get some pics up tomorrow. Ian.

oil "leak" - could it be from sump gasket? (wrong type?) - VR6

If you used the 2.8 24V Alum Sump then there is no gasket, just sealant. Ian. -

It is listed on Classic Parts (not cheap) so Heritage should be able to order them for you - Part Nr is 535 853 393. Ian.

I'm guesing that LED Sidelight bulbs would be OK though? Ian.

Snap, always used a 36mm socket without any problems as long as you don't overtighten it. Ian.

Yes, use the MK3 Roof Cassette,dump the glass as it is the wrong curvature and refit your metal panel to it. Ian.

Carefully remove the Interior Light and then (from memory) there are 2 screws that hold on the plastic surround. Remove that and then you shoud see attached to the sunroof motor a cranked "tool" which will manually wind down the roof. Hope that helps? Ian.

SEAT nuts and bolts part number - are they the same as VW

There is a lot of commonality throughout the VW/Audi/SEAT/Skoda ranges for things like nuts and bolts etc so as long as you are confident in the Part Nr's I would say that you should be OK Edd. Ian. -
Would be useful to know, what are the Part Nr's of the incorrect spring and it's correct replacement? Ian.

Not sure of the exact name, but there is a release arm(?) for the clutch that has been known to crack/break in the past - Had mine replaced when the chains were done and the part was around £15.00 from memory. Ian.
