genius work!

Can someone hurry up and get it bought before some sharky dealer snaps it up and whacks it up for 15 grand?! If I hadn't just bought a VR I would be on it like a shot
-
Does anyone have a spare one of these in the original brushed aluminium finish that is in good condition? If you do please PM me with details and price. Thanks
-
My rear Corrado script badge is looking very scuffed. After replacing the VW badge beneath the boot, this Corrado badge is now really letting down the rear of the car. I have been struggling to find anyone who can reproduce the original brushed finish. Any recommendations?

Corrado Club National Day 2017 date fixed

Discount code not working and it won't even let me buy the tickets at normal price currently!..just wasted 30 minutes trying. Guess will be ringing them tomorrow -
Just checked and my current VR has the open 3 slat grille. As far as I can recall its the first one of the 9 I have owned that haven't had the two sealed slats. My engine temperatures are generally so good that I don't even check them now. Maybe this is helping quite a bit. May purchase a closed grille for the winter running though.. There is only one open slat VR grille on eBay as far as I can see that isn't broken. It's new and costs £60..from VW Heritage!!

Welcome Jim, look forward to hearing, and hopefully seeing, your progress over the weeks and months.

Some lovely modifications with the exhaust and the wheels. Looks sensational

Largs is obviously the place to be! I have seen none down here in East Sussex for months!

Ordered an Alpine CDE-193BT stereo yesterday to replace the rather clunky 90s Pioneer system that's currently installed. Now just waiting for it to arrive by courier -

Veedubmachine in Redruth, Cornwall. It's not the exact badge. Chap there says Corrado version is obsolete! This one comes off the Mk2 Golf. It fits but sits a bit further out from bodywork. The badge is silver but has black interior, unlike the original which I think was a light colour. It looks good. Unfortunately, it's immaculate appearance further emphasises the poor state of the 'Corrado VR6' badging! -

Replaced the rear VW badge as the original was very faded. Afterwards gave the whole car a wash and waxed it. Then went for a drive in the sunshine -
Welcome back. Looks like a great car. I too am back in one after a 2 year absence. It's so good to be in a VR again

I am looking for a set of the Roofbars to transport my bikes around. If anyone has any they don't use anymore please send me a PM. Cheers

M 310k miles..that's barely run in. £10k though! Maybe it's a misprint. I would only be paying that for a 31k miler

and it won't be a 1994 car either if it's a genuine Storm

It seems to be a good car. It is undoubtedly top money though. The advert is also not very detailed. I never understand why people don't make more effort to be informative, especially when the car is priced towards the top of the market. I would want to put every bit of information I could in the advert text, if nothing else to avoid people contacting me every five minutes to ask basic questions.

Always try to get it fixed up...but if it doesn't work out can I put my name down for the beige interior?! Ta

My 95 VR has just clicked over 100k miles, so has been used fairly lightly over the years. It's probably averaged less than 2k miles per year over the last 10 years! I've had it 2 months and already done more than 2k miles! It's hard to try and split the miles between the cars, I always just want to drive the Corrado! Trying to keep it down to less than 5k miles a year!

Yep, they sure do..had a couple before so well acquainted. They also lead to a sizeable reduction in fuel economy from constantly stamping on the loud pedal! -

Just washed the car, cleaned out the fuel filler drainage hole and the wheel arch around it...now waiting for my BMC CDA to turn up by courier. Will get it fitted and then look for an excuse to go for a long drive somewhere -
2nd on my to do list tomorrow (after watching the Lions match) will be to get down to Smiths for a copy. Ta

I've never been to this show. Got a party to attend tomorrow evening so wouldn't be an early start on Sunday! Is this a show that goes all day or one that's largely fizzling out by midday? Don't reckon I would get there till around 12 from Sussex?!
