Black one of the few colours I haven't owned and it's probably the best for the car in my opinion. A lot of black plastic and rubbers on the car which just looks neater when they blend in. Sorry to hear of the circumstances, but rest assured if you get it back functioning on the road in something like original order you will do very well selling. Great low miles. Good luck chap

That Violet car looks a hell of a bargain regardless of your opinion of the hue. I happen to really like the shade and the uniqueness. The colour being rare (was it not offered for very long as an option?) it should make for a super special vehicle in years to come. I would be seriously looking at this if I wasn't already sorted. A previous owner who has had it so long is the holy grail for me if looked after..

Your old car is in really nice fettle and I am loving being back in a VR Corrado. Have you found something else yet?
-
I would jump at the car, if I owned a body-shop business! There will always be another car and I would wait. Mechanical gremlins usually cheaper to sort than rust problems

There is a cheap (sub £3k) VR on Autotrader with a few bodywork issues that looks so much better than the rustathon eBay Storm

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
Billzeebub replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Drove across to the Festival of Speed. Lovely day, for once no Corrado fettling....just driving and smiles -
I went today and it was excellent as usual. I took the Corrado as weather didn't look like it would be viable Roadster weather. Just looking at the eclectic mix of cars in the carparks is enough to justify the entrance fee for me! Anyone else been or going in next 3 days?

At least the owner/seller has deigned to write a few words about it. Some adverts you see for these wonderful cars you have to wonder about the mental capacity of the author

Not your neck of the woods but I've always used Carhood Warehouse in Chesington Surrey for my Conv/cabrio needs. Great guys and excellent workmanship

I got some Storm BBS(x4) for £30 the other week! They need a Refurb, but after that I can't wait to see my winter tyres on them. A great wheel, Speedlines better on Corrado though in my opinion

original is best..apart from wipers & lights obvs!..though, it also looks great on those LMs.

That white car seems to tick all the originality boxes with original purchase receipt, FSH, original plates and stickers. Even the CCGB stickers. This can all be faked however, so the only way to really know is go kick the tyres and have a drive.

Sorted out the rusty screws that attach headlights and grille. They were letting down the engine bay. Just need to get some new sound proofing for the bonnet now and then it will be all good in the engine bay -
Roof Bars (Votex or Thule)..rubber feet now wanted

Looking for these or similar if anyone has some in garage?! -
Defintely need to find one on here. Dealers are being ridiculous with their pricing now. Not just the good stuff seems to be up for huge asking prices and sitting around for months. Usually with a crappy advert with little in the way of detail or photographs. I found my current car by posting a wanted advert on here. If a dealer was selling it I wouldn't have been able to afford to buy even though I had a healthy budget. Talked to a few dealers who weren't at all helpful. Chap I bought off from the forum couldn't have done more. It's a great resource this place. Maybe end of summer you may find quite a few looking to sell rather than have the winter off-road/maintenance thing

need at least 1 of these, but possibly 3 if anyone recognises them? They are the rubber feet for the original Votex Corrado Roofbars. Local VAG dealer quite unhelpful and VAG UK even less so, with a foreign chap who was quite hard to understand basically saying computer says no. How easily these things drop off the bars you would think somebody would have fabricated some generic replacements at some stage. I'm struggling currently. Will happily pay if anyone can be of assistance. I'm led to believe the Votex bars for the Audi A4 (b5) 1995-2001? Used same fixtures -

Sensational looking car in a super rare colour. Wish I hadn't just bought one! -
Whats the weirdest thing you've carried in your 'rado?
Billzeebub replied to eugopnosaj's topic in General Car Chat
over the years a Lawn Mower, Chimnea, Fence posts with Fence Panels on the roof-rack, a pear tree, 3x 11gallon beer kegs, a flat pack shed...probably a few more I've forgotten. Never had any strippers in a Corrado though (to my knowledge!) -

Engine bay is fairly clean, just need to get some sound proofing material fitted -
I know this is a long shot but wondered if anyone who currently has a good condition beige leather interior would fancy a swap for my good condition black leather interior?! This is a standing offer and I will keep this post updated. My interior is pretty perfect condition wise and is in a 99k miles car. It is the standard option black leather, not the Recaro electrics. All parts associated with this interior including parcel shelf in A1 condition. I would be willing to pay for any costs associated with swapping the interiors. Alternatively I may purchase a beige interior if anyone has the seats and door cards/rear-side cards as a minimum.

Front VR6 Badges, Red and Silver stickers
Billzeebub replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Thanks for the reply. I will have to look at getting both VR6 and Corrado rear badg s repainted in a Matt silver close to the original look. Surprised nobody has come up with a solution before. The original badges come form VW with a 'whiteish' undercoat. My Corrado badge is letting my car down!
