Looks a good car Darren. This makes me think it's time to purchase my 9th Corrado, been out of one for nearly a year now..the longest in many years!

Welcome. Sounds like a good car.

Another vote for a BMC CDA. Epic

Always get my OEM Corrado mats off Veedubmachine..but then they get them from VW
-
Welcome, lovely cars and the Cumbrian scenery isn't bad either...

Good point regards the school holidays. I reckon those dates are right at the end of the hols?! But, not having children or knowing anyone with school age children I wouldn't really Know. I generally try and avoid school holidays for organising trips or anything really. Those times much more expensive, busier roads and 'screechy' tantrums (that's just the parents!)

Shmee150 is doing the Gumball and posts up daily escapades on his YouTube account. I'm not a fan of his Supercar chasing escapades generally, but it should be a good way to see the event. Plenty of videos up already. I'm sure many others are also doing video diaries

I think my current car is the only one I've owned that actually has this part fitted! It's usually either totally gone, rolling around in the Boot or at the bottom of a box of parts

Welcome back to ownership. Your Blackberry looks lovely, just about my favourite colour. Especially when looking in nice standard fettle like yours

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

Got my number plate fitted at Colbornes Guildford, replaced Indicator Side Repeater & ordered some new Corrado mats from Veedubmachine -
VW were still selling them in 2010, as there is a receipt in my service history for replacing them that year; cost was £48.48 each side. So €79.95 is not as bad as it could be considering the rarity factor and the evidence that most will degrade markedly at around this age. I believe the last new set on a well known auction site sold for hundreds?!

The 16v prices have formed up a bit recently but that is ridiculous. It is double the price it should be for a perfect low miles car

I'm hoping to get along to this on the Saturday as didn't make the National last weekend. It sounds like a good show. -
Good effort!..I may now speak to the local Wedding Planner about mine!

Love your car Nick. The perfect example of OEM plus, pretty much what I wish VW had done with the Corrado rather than killing it. All the hard work has definitely paid off. Congratulations on the trophy

National Day Convoy - South/London/M1
Billzeebub replied to n3p's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Unfortunately, not sure if I'm going to make it to Bruntingthorpe, certainly won't be leaving in time for the convoy if I do. -
I'm available for swaps tomorrow, if Mum lets me out to play

That's the sort of find I've always dreamed of. For £1000 it's a steal, even if it will take a few quid to get back on the road. Look forward to seeing your progress with it
-
Welcome to the forum and ownership, an excellent find. What's the story with the car, mileage etc..and where did you find it? Any plans for it?
