Maybe worth spraying the underside a bit and seeing if it peels off?
-
I thought plastidip just peels off once you've had enough of it?

We have large machine installs at factory first floor level using huge cranes and the amount of vertical bars used is staggering. We have scaffolders on site most weeks internally when working at height, replacing filters, repairing leaks, renewing pipe runs, elevators etc
-
At the end of the day these are just government employees with no real axe to grind, your neighbours are the biggest hurdle. you could always build a temp cover each year with scaffolding lol

I’d say speak to planning, print off aerial photos of your house and the others in your area with similar set ups. If you get the thumbs up and have to submit plans do them too big and I’d you get turned down you’ll re submit the smaller ones you actually wanted in the first place even though you’ve compromised

I think they’re Audi 80, I’m sure our old cab had them?

More difficult than you’d think. L to R rear master cylinder OSF NSR OSR NSF Master Cylinder front Maybe someone else can confirm?

I bought a tool for cutting them out. Failed miserably, the tool had a knurled handle and a second handle attached by wire cord, you’d need the strength of Titan to use it https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171736273010

You could try and wipe a little grease around the nipple to prevent air ingress via the nipples thread - this can happen when vacuum bleeding (drawing in air instead of sucking through the fluid). I've never heard of the same via pressure bleeding but you never know (we use compressed air through venturis at work to create vacuum - a bit like the theory of a carburettor.
-
I’m on my second one of those, on the original nut that holds the pump to the reservoir cracked. whats the pedal like?
-
Are you vacuum bleeding?

These have chips in a socket? Why not just swap the chips? -

What was the problem with the ecu, injectors staying open? Don't assume new parts (made in China) can't be bad. -

Popping and banging, after dark run the engine and use a garden hand spray bottle to mist water over the ignition leads - look for sparks jumping from lead to lead (cross-firing) or lead to engine block -
Some info here, I might update this if I find anything else

Dunno, but where there's a will there's a way (grinder, welder epoxy. Both my towers and levers are off my own cars, (10V V5 Golf and 1.8T Octavia) both had around 160K miles when I broke them. I drove both of them back to back with my 100K miles VR6 and they were night and day better and basically they're free. The wiki with the polo part numbers has gone, all previous links including purpletoms are now dead ends.
-
I’ve got a couple of 02j towers, just need the Polo / ibiza shifter Stuff to convert the mk4 lever
-
I’m pretty sure hotgolf (gas n gears) rebuilds these and the gearbox towers too

Removed due potential hazard

Unfortunately not
