These are the sacrificial golf struts used, I’ve not wore brushed the axle yet, pics of that once done. If that’s been removed then it looks a good result? I’ve a g60 rear axle to do next Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine did that for a while before the slave failed completely with fluid leaking from the bell housing. Easy job to fit too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use nail pincers to tighten the clips

I’ve rejigged the set up a little, for safety as much as anything. I’ve just been out to check it and it seems to be working Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not Corrado related but started experimenting with electrolysis rust removal with a golf rear axle and emptied this morning wheely bin It’s only just gone in and I’m slightly underwhelmed atm. My neighbour has been doing engine ancillaries for over a week now with good effect. Anyone else tried it? https://www.clubgti.com/forums/index.php?threads/electrolysis-everyone-should-try-this-diy.129882/ This is where we’ve had the idea from Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd hammer a bi-hex socket onto them

I had a Raid 3 spoke on my MK2, it had individual horn buttons on the leather covered spokes and centre. I replaced it with an Italvolante 4 spoke with leather covered spokes and centre horn push, this was a dealer option in the day. I'm not a fan of the bolts on show in the centre - it looks a bit too motorsport IMO

It looks like something ford used to disguise the VW connection on the Galaxy MK1 (in conjunction with a carefully placed blue oval - off a big truck!).

I just can't get my head around what you want to do, maybe its being locked down sending me crazy..... You started with a donkey, stretched it to a thoroughbred, but want to label it as a zebra? I've not even had a drink - for over 3 weeks. No offence meant.

From where I'm sitting you could grind out part of the 8 to make a 9? I'm not a fan of the look if I'm honest

Most use the Tapatalk app for pics

I ended up pressing mine out, the passenger side was stuck solid. You could try putting the nut back on to protect the thread and hammer a piece of wood against it?

Stock are also 54mm pistons, the improvement is from a larger pad area and larger diameter disk
