Worse than smashed / rusty ones? I seem to remember them looking slightly, slightly narrower and longer than OE?
-
Opie oils sell them. Hella branded http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Insert-fog-Light-Unit-fits-BMW-Right-Halogen-H3-HELLA-1NB-123-582-001-/162112229210 Maybe Opie would accept sale or return for a trial fit?

These correspond to the Volvo / Saab part number posted several years ago - not done it myself so can't guarantee they fit http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/1305354933.htm?pn=1-305-354-933-INT

I thought it was Saab? they looked a bit wonky as I remember?

Ask your Corrado insurer if they will "mirror" your NCB to your intended daily, if its cheaper than your current set up you're a winner.

https://www.fordpartsuk.com/ I think it was their ebay shop I got my bits from

Ford dealers sell old stock on ebay with pictures and full spec on listings. Galaxy 12v v6 - they tend not to use VR6. I've bought chain guides a few years ago and 4 out of 6 sexy red plug leads lol (£8-£10 each)
-
Thursdave on here works for VW in the parts dept. Ford used the VR6 in the Galaxy (shared platform with Sharan and Alhambra - Merc in the Vito too), so there's another outlet to try for bits

If the engine doesn't respond to the pedal being pressed inspect all vac lines and breathers for splits where the engine can ingest air without it passing through the MAF (MAF reads air intake and the ECU uses this to calculate fuelling).

I've used them to host pics for 15 years for free, now they want yearly subscriptions off the account holders so other can see them, so basically its extortion.
-
Photobucket are holding pictures to ransom, they want money from the owners of the pics so others can view them on forums via build threads etc

I'm near Nantwich Cheshire, bit of a trek but if you're ever down this way etc

Advice on rust treatment for my poor 205 Gti
Dox replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in General Car Chat
I wouldn't use a cavity wax before welding in the repair sections -
The problem is once you've done the timing belt and known bits and bobs as well as disks and a calliper or two, you're at £3K and you could have bought an MOTd car for similar money and just drove it away. They've bottomed out price wise, but I cant see them increasing in value for 5 or so years (once the rot boxes have all been broken). I nearly bought a new one in 2001 and its an itch I'd like to scratch, but I've always wanted one in Nogaro blue. GLWS

On early bumpers the swage line curls upwards to the wheel arch lip, late the line continues straight. Late parts are harder to find in VGC, check the chassis legs for previous frontal damage, I presume you've done a HPI check?

I viewed a Nogaro blue car with blue alcantara interior earlier this year that was in much worse condition than yours (a breaker really TBH) and they were asking a grand for it, roof rusty, alcantara filthy and bobbled and it needed a gearbox too - the reason it was parked up in he first place so your price seems OK. Is it just the one wing that's rusty?

No worries

You're not stupid at all and the fact that you've raised the issue others have learned from your experience which is what this forum is all about.

sold For Sale: Corrado VR6 Storm - Mods please delete
Dox replied to VR6 Lee's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
I'm shocked there's been no response to your advert for what is the holy grail of Corrados, the engine rebuild and diff would cost more than half the current asking price.... GLWS -
I'll take this posted please

The whole point of this is to fit an 02J shift tower to the gearbox for a more precise change
