Thinking of selling up :( what would you buy?
Leonard replied to The_Dude's topic in General Car Chat
Mint Evo 3 8) -
Spend money on the handling, LSD and brakes first! Everything Im kinda not doing
-
You could always pay someone to take the head off and check the top chain tensioner for peace of mind?
-
Depends on the car really. They certainly look good on road rally cars of most types. Otherwise they tend to be put on cars of a dubious colour to help tone it all down a bit! Or so i tend to notice anyway. Saying that black 911 with black wheels would do me
-
I use Varta seem good and its errr a BIG one! Does that help  Circa £65-£70 3 year guarantee if i remember correctly
-
Errrr no  Wish i had just had mine professionally done now. Bloody hard work doing them and annoying to keep on top of them to keep em shiny.
-
Really like the look of that 8)

No offence to anyone on here. But I wouldnt throw 2k plus at a valver. Not when you can pick up a nice VR for 3k at the moment. Sell the valver (as hard as that may be) get a VR or G60 and enjoy! But saying all that I do agree with the others that you could probably tidy yours up for less than a grand. Heck you could even do the body work prep on your car yourself and get someone to spray it for £500 Matt -
Homebase - Philips X-treme Power 80% H4 Bulbs £4.18 a pair!

You are such a bulb tease! -
Well I know I would rather have a workin car that took some time to get nice, rather than a few mint pieces of a Corrado stuck in my barn for years on end  Think you are defo doing the right thing getting it back together and running. Enthusiasm should flood back then and you can do a bit at a time bringing it up to scratch 8)
-
Hey thats really starting to come on, nice one! Must be getting quite satisfying isnt it?
-
Blimey you havent hung around mate! Hope everything is smooth sailing from here on, fingers crossed
-
The way Corrado prices are at the mo it really is false economy to buy anything other than a good one IMO You could get a minter with all known problems already fixed for circa 3.5-5k or get something that 'may' require 3k's worth of work within a year. Defo worth saving a bit more though and then taking your time to find the perfect car for you and pouncing on it

My ride does my head 50% of the time with just a 40mm drop and 17x7.5's
-
If your not happy with the bigger loan then keep saving for a bit. Always get the best car you can to start with, don't compromise!
-
Nice liking the Alpine. Almost bought an A610 rather than the Rado

Baaaah, it's like choosing your top ten women. They'd all be hot of course, but you can only shag one of them at a time, so what's the point of having 9 more of them chewing your ear and emptying your wallet? Kev Kev Kev, you have just proved how boring you are. What do you mean you can only shag one of them at a time. I'd have all ten in my bed at once, all chosen for their different looks and abilities :norty:
-
Never ever ever gonna do those sums :cuckoo: unless Im gonna add it all up to help sell my car if that day ever comes
-
I know the switches cost loads mate circa £50+ a piece Not sure about the plastics Im afraid
-
Damn wouldnt mind a Carrera GT, no room in my garage though unless I ditch the Corrado
-
Boring boring boring snoring!!! Have you got no soul Kev   I'd rather be in my 57 Speedster than a Veyron especially today!
-
That so shiny, love it  8)
-
Wait for it!
