  1. Mike. I am sure I could come over and sort it out for you if you want. Let me know when you are planning on doing it and we can sort something out. I can't get a discount from Smith Knight and Fay yet, I have only just moved up here ;) Jay
  2. Cheers Ben. Right back at you mate. ;) No Turbo conversions until I have more money :) 16v - Cheers. If you want to have a proper look at it, come along to the Stealth Rolling Road day.
  3. Right, thought I would bump this back up to the top as I have completed a couple of jobs recently and Ultimate has been and gone, so I have a bit of time for doing work people want doing. Anything considered, let me know. Cheers Jay
  4. Totally depends if you are doing it yourself? Have done this sort of thing before? What you are using the car for etc? For me I will never go back to a 4 cyl, but as with most things its completely personal preference... Jay
  5. Cheers. You too. Will be interested to have a proper look at your Turbo conversion at some point. You going to Stealth in April? Jay
  6. Cheers. Yep I have used it every day since June last year without a single problem. Touch wood. The only bit that is not 100% is the bloody Corrado steering rack! typical its the one Corrado bit. So I am replacing it with a SEAT one. :) Jay
  7. Superlite wheels in Gloucester. Image Wheels JustMatz Venom They all do outers for BBS's
  8. lol. Well technically my car (well the shell and the rear window) has done about 210,000 miles :) Jay
  9. Cheers Coxy, I think :) Didn't look quite as good at work the following day :(
  10. Cheers SkyBar. Nice colour you have there. This is an up to date piccie of mine at Ultimate Dubs this weekend.
  11. Its one of the possibilities at the moment Lee... Yet to be confirmed.... I am going to change the rack soon so will be having a good look and investigate when I do. Jay
  12. mmmmm? I did fit new poly bush, but that is only one end of the rack, the other end is bolted solid, which I never really understood! jay
  13. That would definately make sense. I did the same as you Kev and tightened them, but it must have been loose for the holes to elongate? Still my brand new rack should have no problem :) It would also explain why rebuilt racks do the same thing as they would not redo the holes..... Jay
  14. Mines just gone past 50K. That means I have done 7K since December!!!!! Jesus! Jay
  15. I must admit I am proud of it when its all clean. I was dead chuffed with getting a trophy for "top 5 VW" considering the competition there with all the Cleaned.be cars and the ED38 cars, especially when I then drove it to work this morning :).
  16. Cheers Chaz. It was nice to chat to a few people of the forum today. Glad you liked the car. I can tell you its fun to drive. Had a bit of a blast on the way home :) Jay
  17. Yes. FK konigsports wound about as far down as possible on 8.5x17's No problems if everything is all new and tight. Jay
  18. Starting cleaning mine last weekend. Cleaned it again yesterday, will clean it again today and spend all afternoon detailing it. Then will spend Sunday going round it while chatting to everyone at the show. Sad - Damn right :) jay
  19. So who can I expect to see at Ultimate over the weekend then? I will be there from about 2pm tomorrow. Jay
  20. Anything can be done if you want it to! ;) Jay
  21. I think I timed it right then, beat you lot to it :) Jay
  22. Look for a brand new one. I only paid £75 for mine and I know its completely new, rather than one with x miles on it. Jay
