Oh dear. Hope he gets it sorted soon mate. I can honestly say I have had no electrical problems at all. I had a loose engine speed sensor (picked up by VAG-COM) but that was it. Jay

Step away from the car!!! Hope for your sake these things don't come in threes!!! Jay

weight would play a big part with the Bora though, you need someone who has a 24v in the Rado :) Jay

I should imagine as it has all the low end grunt there is not the big increase like a 12v, so it feels less at the top end, but the figures suggest otherwise... :) Jay

Corrado Clutch Pedal operating a Mk4 clutch, with Audi TT pedal cover. Corrado Brake Pedal operating a MK4 Brake Servo with Audi TT pedal cover. Mk4 Golf Fly by wire throttle pedal. I keep forgetting to put the TT cover on :) Think that covers it :) Jay

Whats up with it Stan? Jay

VR Wide setup in a narrow body. :) The effective offset is about 30. Jay

I guess its a bit different, but I got the Momo millenium 320, mainly as it suited the TT dash nicely IMHO. Jay

No probs so far. Done about 15,000 on them with a really nice ride and no probs at all. jay

You will need to do arch work if you want it nice and clear. :)

Me. Plenty of pics about, not got any here. jay

To me it seems to pull forever. Stupid amounts of low end torque and then just keeps on pulling. Yeah it was a G60 before, but now its a MK4 golf in a Rado body :) Jay
-
This is exactly why I stuck this engine in the Rado :) Jay

I am scanning it for imyhamid this evening so we will see what it throws up. I suspect an Engine speed sensor or the MAF, but as you say the easiest way is Vag-Com. :) Jay

Which Corrado Engine do you like best?

No worries Jim. I will happily take people for blast round the block. Better get my new steering rack in next weekend then :) Cheers Paul - I would like to think you wouldn't be dissapointed, but the proof is in the pudding. Jay -

Anyone is welcome to come out for a spin in it. I would be interested to see what you think, I bet you would almost be as harsh a critic as the GF :) Jay -

I have to admit I am liking my Rado more and more. Once yours is on the road you will like it, but I guess you are not going for the comfy option, so it will always be different to the MK4. Jay -
Glad to hear you found a down pipe mate. Good work. I have the joy of doing my steering rack next weekend, but no 4 post lift. :( Jay

Porsche Pink thank-you :) Yeah everything is illuminated Red and I might put the LED downlighters in the interior light at some point, but for now its nice having modern style interior lighting. Jay -

Why? That would make it look pink inside...eughhh! Do you mean like the Phaeton lighting where there is still a subtle red glow when the interior lights are off? Jay -

Had a productive afternoon today. Since fitting the MK4 Golf loom to my car I have been meaning to fit the extra interior lights in the Rado as the loom is there and it would be silly not too :) So this afternoon I set out to install the two lights up near the a-pillars, as per the MK4. However after a bit of investigation I discovered that there is actually nowhere in the Rado that they would fit. So, I decidede to fit one centrally at the back of the headlining, providing a nice light in the back of the car. Trouble was the MK4 loom was about 2 foot short for this so I had to solder in an extension to the loom of 6 wires. Did it all in the same colours so its complete factory and then fitted the light in the headlining. Well chuffed with the result, brightens up the interior no end compared to the awful standard Corrado interior lighting. While I was at it I finished off the wiring of the Corrado interior light into the MK4 loom, so now it all works as it would in MK4, complete with the subtle fade when they go out. Nice 8)
