  1. Dutch. I have already done everything that you keep asking about and are waiting to see how he gets on...... It sits straight on VR mounts no problem. Jay
  2. lol. Well someone had to finish one :) lol You can get the first R32 Corrado. :) Jay

  7. Well the car is finally going into the bodyshop to have the door replaced, post modification by the neighbours car. :( I am dropping it off on Saturday in Bournemouth so you might see me travelling the length of the country tomorrow evening. :) Hopefully will pick it up the following weekend after a week of hell in a Dire, i mean Hire car and will try and pop along to the Milton Keynes meet on the Sunday (22nd) on my way back oop narf. Will take photos once its done, not that it will look any different, maybe just a little shinier :) Jay
  8. Paul, unfortunately they edited what I sent them which was actually right. Never mind! This is what it read when I sent it... Although all the owners of the cars in attendance are members of the Corrado Forum, there were other VW marques represented on the rollers during the day. One car which caused a bit of a stir was Paul Horrocks’ R32 converted 4motion Golf. Despite the ignition retarding at the top end it produced an impressive 265BHP and was trying its best to leap out of the rollers. In complete contrast, another popular car on the day was Keith Goldfinch’s beautifully turned out Karman Ghia 1641, which reached a healthy 57BHP. Still generally I am pleased with the write up and they picked some decent pics from the collection I sent. Jay
  9. That conversion is for fitting it to a VR on VR mounts, not a 24v on MK4 mounts. If you mounted the engine on the MK4 mounts all you would need to do is make new drive shafts and fabricate a positioning mount for the Rear "dog bone" MK4 mount and use the 4wd to 2wd conversion kit. Not sure about the downpipe if you use MK4 mounts. If you use an 02A VR6 box all you have to do is fabricate a downpipe. I know which one I would do..... Jay
  10. Didn't think he looked too impressed :) You waved but he just frowned. LOL :) Jay
  11. Going by recent corrado "destructions" I would put as many lights on it as possible so people know what you are going to do!! :) Jay
  12. LOL. Cool let me know when you come over this way. I will be gentle with you :) Jay
  13. Yayyyy!!! Finally I have seen someone off the forum out on the road! Yeah the door was "modified" by one of my neighbours (its going into the bodyshop to be repaired on Friday). I drive that way to work in the C every day, have never spotted you before, but I guess if you were a bit late thats why! I opened her up a bit up the slip road and nearly ran into the back of you ;) Then opened it up again as I went past. :) but the speed got a bit high a bit quick. :) You were two up though eh! ;) Jay
  14. Had a blast down the A555 this morning at 8:15 with a Green G60 J-Plate. Anyone on here... Jay
  15. I wanted to try and give it more of a "story" rather than the normal so and so got 200BHP so and so got 199BHP so and so got 198BHP etc...etc.. I hope it got across the whole social side of things aswell as the mixture of cars etc... Jay
  16. Exactly. As I have mentioned before, while I was doing my conversion I had a simple approach. If I could make it like it was in the MK4 I would, there is a reason VW spend millions and millions on development. The Corrado is a 14 year old car, so why fit the parts from the 14 year old car when you can fit the parts from the 5 year old car... Obviously the cats are there for emissions, but everything works together on the modern engines so messing it about is risky. Fair enough if once its all done you feel it would benifit from a de-cat or a sport cat but at least you can fit a MK4 one straight in, like fitting it to a MK4. Jay
  17. Glad you like it. :) I did actually put the address in there somewhere will have to have a look when I get my copy! What pictures did they use? Jay
  18. Is that two indicators together in the bumper shot? Obviously had the number plate recess smoothed. Looking forward to seeing this one mate. Jay
  19. Yeah and then make custom driveshafts.... I have used the 02A box just because it fits perfectly factory and if anything breaks you can go down the shop and buy another one, rather than getting it custom made...
  20. No you want to use the twin 4motion cats, they are side by side and they fit in the space no problem. You then get a joiner made up to connect to whatever "cat back" system you use. The downpipe is a complete loch ness monster of a shape. takes ages. Jay
  21. You have to make a custom downpipe, neither a VR one or a 24v one will fit. There are 4 lambda sensors, one before each cat, one after each cat. You really want to put the twin cats in too otherwise the sensors will be measuring the wrong mixtures. Jay
  22. Just noticed you have no mirrors or wipers. Amazing the difference it makes to the car... Jay
  23. Exactly. The GF is going to be buying a MK4 golf soon. I have a funny feeling it might get a "toffee" respray :) Jay
  24. The more I see your car, the more I love that colour. My next car, whatever it may be, will be that colour. Its so different, but so nice! Top work mate. Jay
