  8. Furkz, you have PM mate, see what you think. I reckon the leather side skirts is a step too far though :) Jay
  9. I did mine myself using a suitable section from another bumper and a soldering iron to plastic weld it in place properly, so it becomes part of the bumper again. Then I used bits of the bumper plastic and the soldering iron to "filler" it. Then a tiny skim of filler to fill any pin holes. Once thats done its just the cost of a normal respray. You cut the towing eye off with a hacksaw/angle grinder and the exhaust can be made just by getting a 16v back box (G60 one is a complex folded bit of metal which is a pain) and cutting off the main tailpipe and welding on a downpointing bit, easy peasy. If you were not so far away I could do it for you... Jay
  10. If the 1.8T was done at the same time as the dash it would be a lot easier. Something I would be interested in doing for the right money.... Jay
  11. Never had a problem on any track rod ends I have done on VW's, just use decent quality spanners that are the right size and lever them against each other if you see what I mean. Jay
  12. It was a complete ar5e, infact I did it twice as I was not happy with it the first time. However I have now got a much better idea of the best way of doing it so it would not be quite as much hassle as before :) Jay
  13. Not doing it for me i'm afraid, cool from some angles, but when you see how much higher the rear bumper looks from the side its all too "heavy". Nice mod and very well executed though. Jay
  14. Having finally settled into my new place up near Manchester I am in a situation to be able to offer my services again for any work that people might need/want doing to their cars. People who know my car will know the sort of things I can do, but I am not really looking to do that level of work at the mo, but nothing is out of the question..... Basically if there is something you need or want doing to your car which you won't trust to a dealer or tuners and would be happy for a fellow Corrado owner to do I am happy to chat about it. Obviously the work needs to be worth my while and costs will depend on what the work is and the time involved, but I will not charge as much as a company as this is just for a bit of spending money. :) This is just a bit of a feeler really to get an idea of what people might want doing and when. Feel free to post or PM with any requests, ideas, questions, nothing is too big or small a job. Cheers Jay

  18. Nothing needs doing to the gearbox mount at all, it fits straight on. If you want the engine to fit with the cover on you need to lower the front mount a touch (5/10mm), but not essential. You will however have to remove the rib from the bonnet. (not true for an R32) Jay
