Many thanks to Kev for the breather hose- very reasonable price ;), excellent condition and posted very quickly. Gonna fit it tonight. Beers are on me, mate :)

Cheers, too hot :) What wheels are those? Anymore?
-
Dogzyboy, the current VR is number 7
-
 cheers. Kids in my class don't like the new wheels or the colour of the car  What do kids know, anyway? Looks like I need a new front mount as the engine seems to move a lot on acceleration/deceleration. Can't afford a VT, so may go for a polybush one as they're so much cheaper. The exhaust has also started knocking, so that will need to be looked at. Would like a decat pipe, but looks like that will have to wait a while now :(

Welcome! Looks nice- gonna get modding?

Can't find any of my G60 :( Here's my first Civic VTI
-
Here are the first 2 VR6s...
-
Trawling through some old pics and found quite a few of me old motas. Here are my 3 16v Corrados.
-
Here's a quick snap I took a few minutes ago- I'll get some better ones sorted once I've painted the calipers and cleaned the car ;)
-
I can't seem to find Golf+ anywhere. Was looking forward to seeing this :(

Just been looking at S2000 aerials on Ebay! Does it have to be US spec, or will a UK one do?
-
Have you just replaced your aerial? Need a new amp base for mine, but they're either expensive (VW) or need different connectors. Any ideas?
-
Michael, that Shrek looks superb 8) Looking forward to seeing it fitted. What's your budget for a second car? TDI is definately the way to go imho.
-
Pretty sure from cat back the 2.0 16v and VR6 are the same. The backbox is definately the same.
-
Get all the bits from Ford and you'll save around 1/3 on price ;)
-
Yeh, they are different. Not worth the work inolved tbh. ARZ sell them if the dealers can't get them.
-
Bally, basically the end attached to the filter needs to be attached to the inlet instead, so the plug is underneath, but pointing the same way it is now. Think there's actually an arrow on it somewhere. Hope that made sense!

Is it running OK? Looks like the MAF is on the wrong way around :? My first VR had one fitted like this when I bought it- used to stutter and felt like it was missing. 3 different garages couldn't suss the prob, so I took it to AMD- 5 mins later and they'd turned it the right way and it was running nice and smooth. Yeh, could really do with being down behind the bumper, or at least behind the headlight. The K&N kit has an extra metal mounting piece, which makes it sit further down toward the front.
-
They look good. Engine bay looking good too- will look smashing with the shiny stuff fitted! 8)
-
Ha! Yep they are, Michael, but I'm haven't had time to do the calipers. They're soooo embarassing! Pleased with the Speedies though 8) I'll take some pics and photoshop the calipers out ;)
-
Have a look to see if the bumpstops have been cut. They need to be trimmed by around 40mm. They can also be lowered by pushing the springplate up and dropping the circlip down a couple of grooves. Can be done on the car by jacking up the springplate with a breaker bar, and then using circlip pliers to move the circlip down.
-
Think the inner diameter needs to be 80mm.
-
Just bolt it on with the correct o-ring in place- no need for sealant.

It's a great website- they're nice to deal with too + they accept Paypal. I don't go on there anymore though, unless I know I've got some spare cash ;)
