Wow! They look absolutely stunning! 8)

STORM 2, yep, mine's working. Sounds like the same single blue connector that Rpmayne found too. It was just loose amongst all the other wires etc. Has a blue/white wire. I just plugged it into the fusebox in a gap next to another single blue connector, on the top at the back. Works perfectly now. Hope you get it sorted.

Try http://www.vwspares.co.uk Got some beru leads recently from these guys. Although they're black, they are identical to the red ones I removed and they're well cheap!
-
Also worth checking the door membrane.
-
I got a Koni TA kit (with Koni springs) from Awesome GTI- can't remember exact price, but I really shopped around and they were cheapest.
-
 at Gav. Nik, why were you warned against Volksline? They always seemed OK- not in the same league as Stealth, G-Werks, JMR, Awesome etc, but a decent local specialist. Forgot about Impossible Performance- they've got an excellent rep with the vRS Skoda boys- prob worth a shot.

Welcome! Always liked silver C's 8) Flaws? Door handles, sunroof, headlights, wipers, heater controls (although you should be OK with the early style sliders!). All easily rectified ;)
-
No worries- Monday-Sat lunchtime. If you've got all the history for the car, there should be some stuff from them- think they changed the top mounts, lambda etc.
-
Volksline in Canterbury are reasonable- much better than the Stealers across the road! What are you having done?
-
Got mine too- a good read, good pics etc 8) Me too! Need to dig out some pics...

They only had a couple left when I called this afternoon... get in there asap!

Nice 8) The calipers look nice and snug under the Solitudes. Notice any difference in the brakes? Was gonna paint my calipers black- may go for red now!
-
I'll have one too :) I'll call tomorrow.

Hi mate, sounds like the handle is on it's way out I'm afraid. Drop daves16v a pm. He does a handle repair kit at a fraction of the cost of a new handle. Just done mine, and it's like new :)
-
Yep, single blue/white wire with blue plug. There was a socket free at the top between a couple of other blue plugs, so I popped it in there! :)
-
That engine is looking 8) Nice work!

Defo MK3.

Totally sorted! Comes up at around 55mph and goes down at around 10mph. Well 'appy! :)

Found a small blue plug with a blue/white wire (same as the one that goes to the stereo) loose behind the fusebox. Plugged it in to the nearest socket. It put the spoiler down automatically when I slowed down. Didn't have time to test whether it will go up- will let you know tomorrow.

Think mine is working properly again... Had a good look at the fusebox. Noticed there was a small blue plug with the blue/white wire loose. Plugged it back in to the nearest socket, took the car up the road, put the spoiler up manually, then slowed down and the spoiler went down :) Will check tomorrow to see if it goes up at speed. Fingers crossed!

Got mine quite quickly- took around 10 days.
