Vaughan, have a look here http://www.corradoclub.org/ccgb16/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=113&Itemid=208 The pack is excellent! You get a folder, Sprinter, Sticker, Tax Disc Holder, New Member Letter & Card. I've got several if you want to pop over and have a look! I agree that the magazine is the main selling point. Jim does an amazing job with the Sprinter, considering the little he has to work with. How about a Reader's Rides section like Michael suggested above? Would be really simple- pic + spec list + an optional sentence or two. Quick and easy for members to send in + would make a good read. It would take the same amount of time as posting in the Gallery thread on here... I'm all for paying £15. Postage costs alone are getting crazy- 3X first class stamps for a New Member's pack. £15 is nothing really. Most other car clubs are £20+. I agree we also need to run the balance down a bit further- some good ideas have already been mentioned (gazebo etc). Current membership is around 270 from memory. -
There's a mod you can do with a bolt, that totally tightens it up. Really cheap and easy- try the search. EDIT: try here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?66101-Steering-Column-Mod-Quick-Effective-and-Cheap!&highlight=steering

My wife freezes them. Makes them easier to dip. It's quite tricky to get them looking 'proffessional', especially when dipping them. The Baileys ones have to be absolutely spot on cos they go out of shape easily.

Will be fine mate. Late cars don't even have one! I've just done the reverse- fitted one to my Storm.

Late 2.0 with KR cam is the way to go IMHO. Flowed head works very well on the valver as well. Have a look at the link in David's sig above- well worth a read! His 16v is the best I've driven (and I've driven loads!) and isn't too far off a standard VR for pace 8)

Replied ;) Ha!

Me! Drop me a pm mate.

Got mine + another two boxes! Well done Jim- looks like another excellent issue! Will give it a read later.

My wife makes the most amazing truffles. Has been selling them local for 3 years now and has done a couple of weddings too. Everyone always says they're the best chocs they've ever had. Dark Mint, Baileys, Rum, Dark Orange, Ginger, Plain Dark, Plain Milk. All can be dipped in white/milk/dark choc, or left plain. Scrummy! She uses the same choc as M&S/Waitrose, so it's top quality. Shame she can't do mail order!

Bought a couple of items from Mark261288. Arrived quickly, nicely priced and as described. Excellent seller- thanks mate!

Ben, was on two different rollers I'm afraid, but know a few people over the years have had similar gains on the same rollers. Usually 4-8bhp. -

My old Dragon Green VR gained 7bhp from a BMC. -

The short pipe from the front of the airbox that pushes up to the back of the headlight. Easily removed by taking the lid off the airbox, filter out and tapping the snorkel out with a hammer. Jim, glad you like it- makes a nice difference without being intrusive 8) -
Good news on the job, Chris 8) At least you have a little time to make the decision. Think very carefully about it! You will be hard pushed to find another Rado with the low miles/interior etc. It's a beaut! Personally, I think you'd be crackers to go from a Rado to a MK1/2. V8 on the other hand sounds very interesting...

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Was very worried after all the negative press, but was pleasantly surprised! Could've been trimmed a little here and there- was maybe 15-20 mins too long. However, didn't get bored at all. Looked stunning. Some excellent set pieces etc. Got to say, I don't like the way Peter Jackson changes stuff from the books- some of it is down right irritating. How are the orcs travelling in sunlight? They're not Uruk Hai! 7/10

Don't write it off just yet matey. Makes sense to go with what you know- good examples are getting pretty rare now though...

OMG! I'd get the Westwoods reshod for tomorrow Jude  That is VERY 1990s! What winter tyres have you gone for?

Look under the TB. There is a white disc-shaped pot thing  with a rubber damper to stop the throttle butterfly from snapping shut. It has a nut underneath that can be adjusted up and down. Easiest if you remove the large plastic intake tube that connects the TB to the MAF. 1 minute job ;)

Loving November! 8) Thanks for doing this again mate :)
-
Whatever you do, don't get the Tri-lock ones! Absolute nightmare!
-
Could be the throttle cable is a bit sticky or the dashpot/damper on the throttle body needs a little adjustment.

Perfect solution then 8) Let us know what you think :) -
Try to behave myself nowadays- difficult when following you though  I couldn't believe it either- was absolutely fuming, but it was in traffic so couldn't do anything. Probably for the best!

It's totally livable in a VR. You only get the big growl when you open the throttle fully. It's proportionate to how much you put your foot down, there's no constant noise, so you can pootle along fine without it being obtrusive 8)
