  3. Seen a couple in the past week, wrote down notes on my phone but unfortunately can't find the dates from when I spotted! Here goes: Today - Green L reg in Chippenham, around 10.45am, heading towards town from Calne way possibly? Had smoked aftermarket rear lights Last week sometime: Silver VR in Bath, 2pm, no idea what day!! :cuckoo: Had a 'for sale' sign in the window, M** BPN Last week maybe?: Silver rado, M*** CBP can't remember where I saw it tho!! Apologies for lack of info, I need to start writing down what dates I see them!
  4. Love Dragon Green!! If and when I ever get a respray, im having it done Dragon coz for 1) i think its an awesome underated colour, and 2) mine already is that colour and as Dukest says it's cheaper to spray over with the same(ish) colour

    Clocking?!?

Dude u know u can check all previous MOT's (and mileage) that have been computerised online? http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/Mot/DG_10020539
  7. I've recently got a van delivery job, and so pretty much only time I get out in the rado is wknds or to have a quick blip. The best part for me atm, is the giddy kiddy feeling I get when I know im going to go for a drive in it!! :D  It's all about basically waiting for it to warm up enough, then realising how much i've missed driving it!! :D
  8. Has anyone used these? Do they have a repuatation for being good/being bad? http://www.priracing.com/section.php/91/1/evo-locks
  9. Cheers guys. Have got a 13mm spacer on each side now, and the wheels now clear the caliper by at least 2-3mm. They're hubcentric ones, and unless I grind the caliper, as u say Swiftkid, then unfortunately I need to use a spacer Pete! Im using longer wheel bolts, same length as the originals (28ish) plus the 13mm, im using 40mm bolts. Went on the motorway earlier today tho for the 1st time, braking is fine, only when doing speeds of around 60-70mph and I brake, Im getting a fair amount of juddering through the steering wheel! This must be related surely, could it be the spacers?
  10. Thanks Jake mate! Haha, nah the Scooby wheels were all good man, was gonna try and get some of these Scoob Speedlines: scoobyspeedline.jpg[/attachment:ijvoy0oh] After thinking of getting Robert's rims from him we wasn't sure if the deal was gonna go down or not so these were a backup (Normally hate gold rims, but after the new ones for some reason I wanted to try a gold wheel ) I think it goes well with the green! Anyways, picked up the spacers today from my mate, 4x 13mm FK Hubcentric ones. Was suprised that all 4 haven't even been taken out of the packet so that was a bonus!! Funky fresh :thumbleft: Whacked them on the front's and left the back unspaced, for now. In this hot sun and with the game coming on, and going to a local rock festival in the evening, I really couldn't be bothered to raise the back up and space it out!! So the front is 13mm wider than the backs atm. TBH I just really wanted to go for a spin in the sun with my new rims for the 1st time!! The clearance now is about 3mm, which Im happy with. There was a little rubbing on my side, and with 4 people in there was a bit more rubbing from the front, but none from the back which was pleased about. New pix to follow soon with all 4 new rims on (previous pix only had them on drivers side!) :D
  11. Where did u get them from mate? Finding it hard to find any!! Would need one with about 35-40mm thread...
  12. Cheers guys. Do u use long locking wheel nuts as well then?
  13. Where do u guys get urs from? Need to get some, but would rather get em from somewhere well known?
  14. Mate that is lookin' FRESH!! :D I do like the de-wipered look...maybe time for some new plates tho? :norty: http://www.dubmeister.co.uk
  15. From being from a slightly younger generation than some on here, the way I look at 'beating ze Germans' at football isn't so much to do with the war, but with previous experiences within football that were generated from the wars. If that makes sense? I have no bad feelings with the Germans, and would happily hold a conversation/watch a match and banter with them, but in no means hold a personal vendetta against them for something they had no control over from their previous grandparents etc. I can however, side with people from our nation that did suffer losses during the war and have the utmost respect for people who served out nation :salute:
  16. Mine's not for sale!!! Personal joke regarding rear lights, ey Andy?
  17. Thanks Matt!! Yeh the last thing I want is for the caliper to befriend the alloys in a disastrous circumstance!! As said, when I pick up these (4x) 13mm spacers tomorra (well, today now), Im gonna make sure they fit the fronts 1st with a decent 2mm or so clearance, see how it looks, then fit the same on the rears (at the same time raising it a bit), then mix and match by maybe lifting the front up a bit to compensate (I love the sight of a car being level, Im not keen on the front being slightly lower than the rear) :D I would definately not go back to 280's tho, I think the system still needs a bit of bleeding, but there's such a difference between the 288's and 280's without this that I wouldn't wanna go back!
  18. so with the mk4's you kept the original or mk4 discs? just wondering if mk4 discs have a thicker face plate which would put the wheel further out.. i had 5mm spacers on the back and tried the coilovers lower and i had space to the arch which is why i am a little confused :? Nah they're standard Corrado discs, I think ur right tho the mk4 discs are slightly thicker, but have a different offset so wouldn't be ideal for use on the rado! I dunno, only thing I can think of is maybe u didn't lower it as far as mine? :confused4: When I get the 4 spacers tomoz, gonna whack the fronts on, then the rears without spacers, then raise it and whack the 13's on the back too, see how it looks!! TBH, i quite like it looking slightly wider at the front
  19. Yeh got some mk4 rear calipers buddy! It's not caliper clearance Im talkin' about tho, it's how low it is! :D If I space them out at the current height, my tyres will be customising my rear arches!
  20. Ah ok! Yeh lol, I have a 5mm and 2x 3mm spacers on the front, making up 11mm(ish). No spacers on the back, there's no room  (or any left!!) Yeh the one's i should be picking up are hubcentric ones, he wants to sell as a set of 4, so at least if I do decide to space the rears as the same I've got the spacers already!!
  21. Yeh I know, in a perfect world Id have the rears out slightly more than the front, but again unless archwork is involved or I raise it quite a bit, it ain't happenin' lol!! EDIT: Robert, how were they stacked when you bought the motor mate? 6's on the rear and 5's on the front?
  22. Thanks for the comments guys :D Yeh, I don't think 25's on the rear coz I can't afford any arch work right now. Is it not right to roll around with the front's wider than the rear's then? Will it affect performance?? Didn't really wanna raise it much as i've just got the height how I want it  But needs must, I guess!
