  1. Damn, why do they have to be so expensive? :(
  2. Agreed. How anyone can look at that eyebrow and think "I want my C to look that bad" :gag:[/quote:28omk852] Nah it's advertising the splitter, its OEM as well, but like $227 or something. Haha the eyebrow spoiler just spoils the car :)
  3. Nah, definately made of ABS plastic or some sort mate. 90mm for the win, looks much better to me! Unless the car is THAT low, of course
  4. Yeh, definately won't fit without modification mate, they're huge!
  5. Then it's a no-brainer, get urself a Storm!! :norty:
  6. Sherry Pearl(?) valver no.plate J*** GJD on the M4, saw u join the M4 at J17 Chippenham, heading towards Bath, @ 11.45am today!! Looked well smart mate, slammed, on Borbet A's I'd say, 9's on the rear. Crystal lights all round too, wheel whores sticker on the rear bumper. I pulled alongside u a couple of times to give u the thumbs up but u didn't notice the loonatic in the VW Caddy
  7. According to the info in the Evo snow tyre test, experts recommend using them between November & February, or when ever ambient temps are below 8 deg C IIRC. Apparently they don't last as long as summer tyres in dry only conditions though as the rubber's a lot softer, so it's a judgement call really. The difference is mainly the tread compound, it's softer, more pliable and the treads are also specially cut and shaped to maximise surface area and traction. I think the theory is summer tyres become too hard in severe cold and just slip off the surface of snow and ice like flat soled shoes. The much softer tread of snow tyres bends and squidges itself to the surface, thereby maximising adhesion and therefore traction :D Ah ok - makes sense!! Nice one bud :D
  8. Would these KW23's be suitable for normal dry driving conditions? As in for example, if I had them put on because they need replacing anyways, and wouldn't be able to afford another set come the 'dry season' again? Without actually trying to sound naive, what's the difference between winter tyres? Is it more tread, tread patterns?
  9. Crap, I've got that coming on the way from lovefilm. Looked really good, is it really that pants? Scorcesee [spelling?] and De Caprio should be a good combo? I didn't think it was too bad, certainly not a 10/10, but neither a 2/10 in my opinion!
  10. Inception - 9/10  Absolutely awesome film, just so glad it lived up to all the hype it's been getting!! Thought the soundtrack was intense too, thoroughly enjoyed!! :D
  11. Dark blue? valver, no.plate M*** JAD parked at Longwell Green complex last night just after 8pm!
  12. Spotted captainredeye parked outside a shop/place called Loxley? in Calne on the 9th (last Thurs) around 10am, there was a traffic warden snooping around so hope u didn't get a ticket mate! Saw a black J reg in Bath last week too at some point, stuck in the traffic around 1pm, female driver. Also see a Corrado at Arval in Swindon everytime Im there, always parked in the same(ish) place in the carpark so obviously works there. It's a black valver I think with personalised plate D9 **Y. Has smoked rear lenses too, anyone from here? Made me laugh, 1st time I saw it I could only see the inner-part of the rear lights inbetween other cars, and instantly thought "Is that a Corrado?! Or could it be on of those old Citroens that have kinda the same looking 4-piece tail lights?"
  13. I find this but also with companies/people in the same area. I find that A LOT of people are just really rude and don't give a schitt, whereas others do.
  14. Have u removed 3 screws from the drivers side? If only the top 2 but u can't get it out, there must be a 3rd in the same place as the passengers... Maybe someone's tried before and destroyed/pulverised the screw head?
  15. If he ever leaves his front door open, just walk straight, go upstairs and get into his bed! the cheeky bas'tid! Not really a chuftie but I was driving through town t'other day and this kiddy on a bmx (couldn't have been more than 10-12yrs old) was riding past me and asked if it was a VR6!!
  16. Take it you love the forum too bud? Whereabouts are u?
  17. Awwww, I love u guys! [youtube:2rthji9l]iX-k6oVI4YM[/youtube:2rthji9l]
  18. Nasty, at least my bolts stayed on, I guess. Although to be fair I didn't cover many miles at all... Yeh definately, I had to sleep sat up lol!! Yeh Im thinking of raising it a bit in the dry weather next yr, and spacing out both the fronts and backs. I know the rings I have now fit fine so that's all good :) Hey dude, haha thanks mate I appreciate your love for it! :) Yeh I think both sets look pretty smart, but I was always gonna put the Speedies back on for Winter, just a shame they went back on earlier than planned! Yes bud, 288's on the front from a late mk3 VR, and mk4 rear calipers, the carriers don't actually fit on the Corrado, as I found out  I painted them all up, re-furbed the slider pins, new seals, nice new grease, took em to DG and because the mk4 discs are slightly thicker than 'rado ones, the carriers are offset slightly so they don't line up lol! So don't make that mistake bud, u gonna get yours done then? Thanks man, one of the reasons I did 'em red was due to the amount of time and effort I put in 'linishing' all the brake dust and crud off them with my cord drill, I wanted to be able to see the results of what I spent all that time on  Besides, red and green does look good as u say :D
  19. The watchtower exploding AA-12? Lol, the Expendables was a pile of pants, can't believe I paid money to see it. Id give it 3/10.
