  1. Yeh, pretty certain I would've noticed the ML's too, even in the dark! :D
  2. If it's the lovely silver VR with 'VWC' it's probably the '5th Gear' one that used to live in Shrewsbury. The new owner took it along to the DG open day. Hmmm, that's what I thought but looked on the members gallery and Im sure the one I saw had at least a 6-letter reg plate... But then everytime I walked past I was pretty wasssssted :drinking:
  3. Spotted a couple down at RTTS over the wknd. I recognised the no.plate of a silver one off here tho, walked past it a few times as it was parked on the hill with a few mk2 'roccos on the way to the original VW field. No plate ended in VWC...?
  4. It'll be like Mad Max
  5. Thought so mate :) Can't answer the question tho sorry mate, obv depends whether they're banjo connections or not... Yeh mate, we had some issues bleeding the system, so the pedal travelled quite a lot, felt very spongey, but 2-3weeks on I think it's starting to settle a bit, will get em bled again, but there's some definate positive response from them!! Put it this way, they're better than the 280's now but I think when it's bled again there should be an even better improvement :D
  6. Mk2-Mk4 hoses are for the mk4 rear calipers mate, I assume u meant the late mk3 VR6 front hoses?
  7. Cheers guys, appreciate the comments :D I went for the gunsmoke mate, but on the headlights i've got them there smoked covers that used to be available :) Yeh man u should come along, good wknd it is! 8)

  9. Dude did u get a load of 'o'rings and other rubber bits that weren't needed? I did...
  10. There shouldn't be paint on the rubber strips? Are u sure they haven't taken them off, resprayed it, put them back on but the rubber strips are just faded? Personally I like my strips, Im a big fan of little bits that break the car up as is 3corsameal. For instance Id NEVER go for a colour coded grill etc :D
  11. I re-furbed both mk3 VR6 288's and mk4 rears recently. The mk4 rear carriers DID NOT fit onto my hub - there is a slight offset difference!
  12. :( Shame man. I had mine done at DG and the motor was on the ramps so suspension was unloaded. That's a real schitter, hope u get it sorted!! :bad-words:
  13. Dude, it was me who pointed u towards them...I had mine fitted t'other week with no problems! What's up with urs?
  14. Ah man, no worries! Hope it all goes to plan for ya bud!! :)

Nah I understand where ur coming from mate! Hopefully u'll get used to it, it only took me a week to get used to using a 320mm wheel, but originally I was like "whhaaaaaat"!! Whereabouts are u from mate?
  17. Here's my emmisions results :D Fast Idle Test: CO % Max = 0.200 / car = 0.004 HC ppm Max 200 / car = 1  Lambda 0.970-1.030 / car = 1.005 Natural Idle: CO % Max 0.300 / car = 0.016
  18. Id happily do 400 miles without blinking an eyelid in mine. Just go for it! Unless of course u want to drive the other cars, the RX8 sounds like a good option! Haha, Zooport, oh dear...

  21. Love it. Im pretty certain my body achieved temperatures I've never felt before today in my rado (with black, leather!) But, once I hit the M4 (and undone a couple of buttons on my shirt) I was in my element! :D Wind deflectors and fag out the window (and a cheeky Koppaberg - shhhh) I loved the drive!! Then I got into town and my face was like :mad2:
  22. Congrats to you too mate. :D Yeah get the results up. Would be good to have a comparison.[/quote:c8jsy576] Sound, I will when I get home to where they are on Monday! I reckon mine was fixed tho
