  1. Sorry to divert from the sales here KUR2Y, but what have everyone done when setting their looms up with the relays? Has anyone protected theirs from the elements or is it fine not to? I was gonna stick mine to the battery...?
  2. Haha yeh, I always put my window down a little further than passenger, sunroof on tilt (I always have blowers against face, and even on 0 it's nice and cool, and with the sunroof on tilt u get a bit of extra circulation from the vents :confused4: ) Switch MFA to oil temp straight away. Radio/tunes off or low at least, until I hit a 60mph road generally, or until the oil temp has reached a sufficient temp (early 80's for me) and I give it a little blast to a) remind me of the sound and b) put a smile on my face. Constantly staring at the road infront scanning for potholes and other nasty obstacles that shouldn't be there, and cringing when they're unavoidable

Was going towards the Link Centre about 10.30am, was absolutely pelting it down tho so didn't notice it was even a Corrado til it had nearly gone past!! And seen another red 'rado in Bath yesterday, reg was H*** CMJ, was parked along the main road out of Bath towards the M4 @ 12.30pm

  12. Ok ta. Can I use some of that coloured polish stuff I linked to earlier, or do u mean like a touch up pen?
  13. Yeh just had a quick blast with the machine polisher. No pix as of yet bud, was raining so thought Id wait til its properly dry. Wet and dry hmmm, im so inexperienced with car care id be scared of ruining the paintwork! Yeh u can just about get ur nail in, some of the areas he's gone over have gone back to green and don't look too bad, there's a couple of bits where it's still white though. What's a 'cutting pad' mate? Excuse my ignorance lol
  14. I have no idea why some people have so little respect for other people's property. Anyways, im not gonna have a rant because it won't get me anywhere. BUT, I came home today to find a pretty much whole bonnet width scratch along the front end of the bonnet. I've taken it to a local bodyshop who gave it a once over with some polish and a mop - some of the scratch has come out but it's evident now how deep the rest is. Id rather not have to fork out for a front end spray so would like to try a cheaper alternative 1st - can anyone recommend any products? Is it wise to use T-Cut with green pigments such as this, or this? What's the difference between the 2? Any advice appreciated :salute:
  15. Saw a K reg blue rado heading towards Marlborough/Swindon way from Devizes on the A361 earlier today, @ 12.20pm! Again, as always, was in the works van
  16. If ur keeping the same engine in and having the spray 1st, then that engines gonna have to come out twice anyways isn't it If u change the engine 1st and spraying later, then ur still gonna be taking engines out twice If u think the engine really does need replacing, then id get that done 1st personally. Or at least do the oil change lol while u keep it in there
  17. What else could these symtoms be related to? Im guessing its either a fuel or air intake situation..? Fuel filter was changed not so long ago so can rule that one out...
  18. Love Mr.Scruff!! :D [youtube:3shehqkx]MS_CLIF1h-o[/youtube:3shehqkx]
  19. Alright guys, Just been to take out my VR6 for a drive to get some more fuel, however it started 'stuttering' soon after i started him up. It felt like a misfire kinda of kangaroo jump at 1st, but after it had warmed up a bit, i took it on a 60 limit road to see if it would open up, it was ok and then i basically lost all power - with my foot down u could hear a slight gurgle of the engine, but there was no engine noise or revs - they just died! Engine stayed ticking over tho... I pulled over to the side of the road, and after about 10 seconds or so the revs kicked back in and i was off again! I filled him up, started the drive back, no problems. I decided to pull over and have a quick look under the hood (bare in mind im mechanically retarded) and started giving it some juice from the throttle cable to see if it would cut out and while i was under the hood maybe find an explanation :confused4: He started spluttering and then died! Without a spanner or anything else on me decided to take out the MAF sensor plug and give it a quick clean, then plugged it back in (the extent of my know-how! ) The drive back was fine, no more spluttering, went for a 10minute blast and no problems. Could this be related to my sensor then, are these the symptoms of it not working/plugged in properly?
  20. Wow, easily worth the money if it's got one of them 'INTRODUCTION KITS' in the bay!!
  21. Thanks dude! But no, I haven't yet man - Im being very slack with regards to getting some new photos taken lol! Will give the car a once over this wknd probably and try and borrow my sis' SLR to get some decent pix! :D
