  1. Ok, new rims have been attempted to be put on, but alas, have come up with problems :( Rear went on fine, but there's not much gap now between the tyre and arch!! Book1.pdfDSC04033.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfDSC04034.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] The front's I had problem with. I was kindly given 6 spacers, 4 of which are 3mm and 2 are 5mm's. The offset of the rim is 30, I thought it was 35, so had a difference of 13 to make up compared with the speedlines to clear the calipers!! Ended up putting 2x3mm's and a 5mm on the front rim, and it now clears the caliper, but by this much   ETKA Corrado.pdfDSC04030.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] stromlaufplan_gamma4.pdfDSC04031.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] There's literally less than a mm clearance, so didn't really think this is gonna be adequate enough!! I've managed to locate some 13mm FK hubcentric spacers off a mate I can pick up tomoz, so hopefully, these rims may be able to go on properly after tomoz!! :? Corrado92.pdfDSC04029.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] Thing is now though, the front will be 13mm wider than the rears. Obviously I can raise the back up a bit to get some spacers on the back, is having the front end wider than the back something people do though? Id think the handling will be affected by this? Please advise lol  Anyways here's some pix of how he stands atm passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfDSC04020.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDSC04025.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC04027.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8] DSC04024.JPG[/attachment:2x7wuyc8]
  2. HI guys, Just in the process of putting some new rims on. They're 7j, et30, 16inch. Backs went on fine, I've managed to put a front one on by spacing it out as much as my spacers allow right now. The problem being is that the clearance of the caliper to the rim is less than a mm. The wheel turns freely tho, is this something I should be worried about? Will the calipers expand with the heat etc and end up not clearing the rim? :confused4:
  3. Hi Matt, good ta mate, urself? Thanks dude! Should be some new pix after this wknd :D I've heard about the R32 sump, did u put this mod on urs? Is there other things u have to think about, such as a different oil pump?
  4. Thanks man! And don't worry, there'll be a few
  5. Yeh mine now comes up @ 45ish! Better than it not coming up at all when I bought it tho :D
  6. So why don't they use the 3-speed settings? By 'linking' it to 12v does he mean via a switch?[/quote:bs8zqppu] Can't really say as I didn't install mine, but they come on normally but only at one speed. That speed is damn fast though, they're great fans.[/quote:bs8zqppu] Awesome, didn't realise this was a common mod! Just checked on DG site, they can supply the 2 fans with the bracket, don't know if they're Revotec tho. Cheers bud for the info, do they come on at only one temp then? Or different lengths of time at the different temps or something? PS. Sorry for the hijack, Mawrick!!

  8. Yeh man, I managed like. But there's some deep recesses along the vertical point in which ur effectively 'seperating', that were hard to get into! Good luck dude! Good opportunity to clean all the green gunk from between the glass/plastic etc!
  9. Yup. Toyed with taking them off before, but wouldn't want to because of the potential increase in these kind of events!
  10. I used a permanent marker too mate, colour was fine. I bought a new Edding marker for the job. If I did it again tho Id use paint because there were a couple of areas hard to get the marker right in.
  11. Nice one Oz!! Shall give them a bell tomoz! Any idea on what he charges?
  12. Ah ok, thanks! Well the main dings are on the door, apparently he can just go down through the gap in the window, coz I asked if id have to take the doorcards off he said no! Theres another on the wing Id want done, they did say u get a heavy discount for additional panels after the 1st. Just a schitter they're not all on the same door!
  13. Nice price! Im being quoted £65 per panel :(
  14. :( Im in Westbury most of the time bud! Never down ur way tho, always going back towards Bristol/S.Wales tho!
  15. Cool, thats what I wanna hear tho - these dents were along the crease Dave? What kinda prices did u pay? (if u don't mind me asking)
  16. Oooh, is it intermittent? Nice, only 30odd miles from me! :thumbleft:
