not according to the episode i watched last night - gone & no notice period i wonder if it was 'entertainment value' that he quit & walked out on the day he returned off his holidays - i couldnt tell if richard was genuinely shocked or acting

pleasure i think a recode may be dealer only but im not 100%
-
hi m8 yes it does if key & immob ring around ignition do not match the car will start but then shut off a second or 2 later some key you can split apart so it could be possible to swap the chips over - if that is an option if not it is a recode at VW

well the VR is back & damn id forgotten how quick it is! lol Billet 4's not fully bedded in yet but initial feel is that they are going to be awesome :D the is a ignition key width of clearance between the outer edge of caliper & inner edge of wheel face lol idle playing up even after a couple of short runs so may treat her to a new one if it doesnt start to behave cold with no matrix on the way to work this morning but my heated seat behaved thankfully

hi Adam i am not sure what the current price will be but am sure KUR2Y will work it out based somewhere around the old figure & dependaing on how many are wanted. i will add you to the list & then you can yay or nay when KUR2Y can finalise the details when he is back in the UK & preparing to make them for people updated list as of 17th march: VR6Lee delfinis38 brownbear85 Dogma Longjon Geeba Acecross Adammcc34

ha ha ha no danger

lol thanks delfinis i doubt there is much profit in them TBH m8 but my motivation is purely to help other rado drivers see well in the dark & avoid being left in a dark lane without lights if they had a 2 relay version & 1 relay blows whilst out & about that said if KUR2Y fancies doing me another for free in return for my help then i would gladly remove the VR one & re-fit it in a better route lol the one i fitted in my valver was the 3rd time installing one & i felt i did a much better job :) i appreciate you, as others have done also, in expressing thanks to me for assisting

give VW Heritage a call ask for Luke, he helped me get to the bottom of the VW-USA recall for a pressure reducer in the matrix feed hose you want a mk3 golf matrix as they had the pressure issue sorted on them part number 1H2819031A should be £24.09

of course you may - added to list & updated

only time i have removed one was when i fitted a daves16v short shifter in my VR but i cant recall the procedure you could try looking at the short shifter thread to see if that gives you a clue i dont remember it being difficult
-
thats ok fella not to worry :)
-
lol not yet Dogma, bit premature i did say in my other post that he had said he was away for 4 weeks as of 20th feb ;)
-
i believe they do as i think they are generic part for late or early rado's i will be fitting one in my '90 valver this weekend & already have one in my VR
-
your description sounds normal for 12v VR6 i would say & i doubt it would get much quieter with new lifters
-
AFIK the tappets/lifters will always be more noisey when the engine is cold started as they are hydraulic. they are that way inherently by design i think i am pretty sure Stealth replaced mine during my head rebuild & the new ones were still loud ish until warmed up how is the noise once the engine is warm?

not had a chuftie for a while but this one raised a big smile after paying for vpower a returning to the valver the guy at the next pump was filling his aston martin & rained down praise on the old girl whilst saying he thinks the prices for them will rocket in the next 10 years made me chuckle to myself as i drove off too, it is a nice feeling when someone in a £80 odd grand aston loves your little corrado :D lol
