  2. the small screw cover things which go over the + bits on the A pillars etc
  3. tidy :) ok m8 - FYI i dont tend to be on here much on the weekend though but i am sure it will all make sense once you are in front of it again in terms of feedback for others, including the OP, how did you find getting it all apart? PS putting it back in is much less stressful lol
  4. no problem m8 - did my description make sense? lol
  5. oh & good work by the way :) lol
  6. Hi Nick if you take a look at the page i sent you on my build thread there are a few pics where you can see the inside of my air box. you will see 2, i think, mental panels on the inside of the air box & can see where the original lining has disintegrated allowing you to then see the holes in said metal plate IIRC there is one each side, IE left & right it is the moving part/panel inside the air box that provides the mix between hot or cold air when you move the dial on the heater controls basically inside the big black box bit you have to wriggle out from the very centre of the console once the dash is out & you have removed the small metal bracket from by the gear lever
  7. thanks it is the sliding part i am unsure of - ive seen how it kind of pushes up & back or something i hope the backing card stuff makes it through a bath ok m8! for the roof you could maybe try something similar to what i am going to use to reline the doors - https://www.silentcoat.co.uk/collections/silent-coat/products/silent-coat-2mm-mat-door-pack not sure about the 3kg per sq/m though

someone grab them if they are right lol i still badly regret not buying the autostrada modena's that were sold on here a couple of years ago :(
  9. good work how did you find taking out the roof lining? i need to do that in my VR - oddly the valver, which is 5 years older has a great roof lining lol lucky with the speakers too m8! i run Infinity Kappa's all round in the VR, 5.25's in the doors & 6*9's in the shelf :D sadly no audio yet in the valver
  10. i will keep this in mind for my dad he got a beautiful Patek Philippe a little while ago & for a bargain too
  11. my raymond weil watch is like that & has to be sent back to them to do - though i stopped wearing a watch about 8 years ago now lol

size & offset look right but they are 5*112 - a redrill would be possible i guess maybe, or adapters

  14. received & guide sent geeba the guides are flying out this month so far lol
  15. would you like a guide emailing m8? cant recall if i have offered or sent you one already
  16. lol - looks about right Jim its not that bad a job though really is it think im going to take more time reassembling the valver's when i take it out again to do the flaps - tidy the wiring, install front speaker cables & solder on a new ISO connector for a stereo
  17. hi nick - will check PM & drop you the email today EDIT - now sent
  18. ha ha ha!!! yes my friend i am afraid they will have to - better that than trying to wriggle the air box out with half the dash in, i have no clue how some people have achieved that! have you asked them to check & reline your air box flaps whilst they are in there m8? 100% worth doing if needed & maybe even replacing anyway as a preventative maintenance & checked what brand matrix they are fitting? valeo are meant to be the most reliable if it was me i would also be expressing my concerns about them being extremely gentle with all the plastics - it is very easy to accidentally break things like the air vent moving parts as they can be brittle i hope you have something planned to take your mind of it on your days off ;) lol
  19. cool thanks Jim & VAG :) i will order one today EDIT - done, yay hopefully no more gurgling once fitted
  20. hi nick it is not that bad a job, just fiddly & time consuming. basic tools & scraped knuckles really & yes i have a guide, with lots of pictures too lol drop me a PM with your email address & i will send it you things to note..... try to get a Valeo brand matrix prepare to have to reline the directional flaps in the airbox, sticky back felt is what people have used on here - as if you dont you will end up like me.....having to take dash out for a 2nd time as all the hot air mixes with the cold label everything as you remove it a hose clip tool makes reconnecting the hoses onto the matrix much easier if you take a look at my build thread here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44751-g0ldf1ng3r-s-VR6-amp-1-8-16V/page18&highlight=g0ldf1ng3r it has a write up & pics on when i did the one in the valver
  21. thanks Jim i did you you had written this onpage2 "Alloy mini type - only thing I'm not sure about is the size.. can't remember if it was the 6 or 8mm version. Pretty sure it's 8mm" so wanted to confirm if possible it will be in your ebay purchase history ;)
  22. FYI m8 i got my KW's direct from KW themselves
  23. update on this - it wasnt a suspect jubilee but a failing aux water pump - as it sheared the end off of it & dumped coolant all over my mechanics workshop floor
