  1. Bought this of ebay for £6.99 for when the missus and I go away. Bargain!!! Fits perfectly and the spoiler still goes up, its the same one that someone else previously shown on here (the bike rack, not the bike) 100623_202643.jpg[/attachment:2oj3fu1i]
  2. Yeah it will all fit, however the dial readings might be slightly off, speedo should be fine but i think rev counter might be wrong but someone can confirm this. Everything else will be fine, seats, dash, plastics etc How did it happen if you dont mind me asking?
  3. Well the brake light is a little socket connection that attaches to the pedal up underneath the steering cowling, so its possible that you keep knocking it when you push the brake. Its not that easy to help without seeing it but i will try, does it happen if you drive over bumps? I doubt its a ground issue otherwise it would probably stop altogether or blow a fuse. The demister and fogs are one socket as are the wipers so its a bit strange that they're happening at the same time unless you have an issue with the fusebox itself, im pretty sure that there are multiple power points for the various connections on the fusebox and its possible one of those has come loose. it could also be a dodgy fuse itself, check to see if the 'suspect' connectors use the same fuse. Hope that helps :)
  4. A wiki would be helpful as i''ve got a spare TB and want to do it but i dont want to remove too much/too little
  5. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=91230&hilit=+wiring check this out, i've uploaded the wiring diagrams, the op wanted one for a valver but the documents contain details for all models as the wiring is pretty much the same
  6. My housemate reckons i 'stalk' corrado owners because i write down times when i see them so i can put them on the 'spotted' list on here....thing is, he usually points them out!!
  7. Not yet but ive got another little project to work on at the moment, and I will definately be turboing this one (mainly because im not paying  ) so it will give me a bit of knowledge of the whole thing and will make my conversion a lot easier.

    Key locks

Why do you want to change the barrels? If its the same type of key (AH) then you can change the bits in the barrels to fit that key..
  9. Really boring but repaired the lock on the glove compartment so it works with my key now :D
  10. Dark blue, possibly grey one yesterday around 7:25 near the tesco roundabout/petrol garage going towards Leighton buzzard town centre first 4 digits of reg N517
  11. Blue/Black one, not sure which flavour on the A47 near Sainsburys in Watford on Saturday coming out of a side road around 7/8pm, I was in the mini going to London for the London to Brighton Run Also saw a blue/black VR down in Brighton on the A23 near a pub (can't remember the name) yesterday around 3/4ish, again in the mini but there was no one in the 'rado
  12. Haha im probably really winding you lot up now, i think ive probably done enough talking now!
  13. Yeah pretty sure im going to get the FK spacers but i they only do 20, 22 and 26mm...i dont want to get 26 and them be too big but i dont want to get 22 and them be too small  Swompy, can you send items back on that website?
  14. Haha is that a yes to 'do they make 24mm spacers' or 'i would need at ET of 11'
  15. yeah cool but your rears are 8in mine are only 7 so surely to get the same position i'd need to get an ET of around 11 am i correct? do they make 24mm spacers?
  16. What does that make your ET? also how much have you got it lowered at the rear? The fronts would be harder because of the fact they have to move more in the arch for steering
  17. Or it will be on the sticker in the boot/service book, a 4 digit code usually 2 letters following a number then another letter
  18. This is the gap that i've got at the rear at the moment, running 7in ET35, the car has been lowered about 40mm i think at the rear and the front (apparently, or so someone told me, it was lowered when i got it) Rear: Corrado92.pdf100417_180553.jpg[/attachment:adwy7jue] Better pictures below: passat climatronic wiring diags.pdf100223_170920.jpg[/attachment:adwy7jue] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdf100223_171014.jpg[/attachment:adwy7jue] Front: 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf100223_171034.jpg[/attachment:adwy7jue] 100223_171005.jpg[/attachment:adwy7jue]
  19. Sorry to hijack slightly, are these with standard arches? Sorry im just trying to work out my spacing, if you've got 9in ET15 the rear what would that equate to with 7in wheels to get the same stance? ET10?
  20. The companie that sent me the bolts have amended the problem. They are sending me out the 35mm ones and said I can have the others as a gift. How much did 8 bolts cost you?....fancy giving me the 45mm ones as a gift   Also what does anyone else think about the above pictures? Is 20mm definitely the widest i can get, ive got plenty of space above the wheels so i dont think they'll rub, its a shame there's no one local to me with spacers i can test
  21. yeah i know i found that site too, all it does it list it as a protection sleeve like i said in my earlier post
  22. Had a bit of another snoop and found this VW part number on a plastic cover which sits inside the spring, it wasn't printed it was raised so would have been part of the original moulding when it was made: 191 513 425 TAH GERMANY 3 (with the VW logo) Does this ring any bells? Edit, found that this is a protection sleeving....seems im still none the wiser as to who made my springs/struts :(
  23. Ok so i had a play at the weekend to see what i could get with the standard arch. Luckily (or not luckily depending how you look at it  ) the rear isn't lowered too much and ive got engouh room about to bring the wheels out further without them rubbing. Without having a spacer to test i jacked the car off, removed the wheel and positioned it to the furthest point i though was legal with the arches ive got. The picture shows the wheel position if i were to use 26mm spacers (or there abouts, possibly a few mm out as i just had the wheel standing freely from the car), what do you think, would i get away with buying them for the rears? or could i get away with more? This would put the ET from ET35 down to ET9 if i use 26mm spacers climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdf100509_165443.jpg[/attachment:4mqkgh2i] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf100509_165456.jpg[/attachment:4mqkgh2i] 100509_165518.jpg[/attachment:4mqkgh2i]
