  1. yeah me too, but common sense is common sense. i should point out i have replaced vast amounts of the car/engine so hopefully cant be chasing much thats wrong with it now. coolant vanishing is the last problem. ready for mot other than that.
  2. looking for some advice/opinions really. im currently saving for a house (second time round, went tits up with mrs) but im happy with the way things are going. im putting good amounts away and am looking to put an offer in on a house in may to complete for mid july. but ive reached the point where i really need the rado on the road but its not having any of it, one problem after another keeps nocking it back. many people tell me i should put it right and pass it on, but my theory is i need something to enjoy once i have a ball and chain mortgage again. and i love the g60 so much, the noise alone makes me smile so much (clearly better than a vr!!!!) so what do i do? common sense and sell it or keep it because it makes me smile big time???

  4. stick a wanted up. i got one with cv joints and new boots for £50 posted. changed it on the drive too, so that was all in. *edit if you are actually german, the english person selling it should rape you on postage to return the favour*
  5. dont get me started mate i used to work for the prison service, the immagration policy is a sham. as for injustice theres a lad in jail at the moment. samuel stanger. he got two years for taking a camera out of the hands of a traffic warden. on the same day a crack dealer was given community service???? fu**ing absolute bo**ocks. sorry :hitler:
  6. Not massivly common but has come up a few times. Play in bearings. Warped discs. Buckled wheel. Cv joints etc
  7. lots of people seem to find this, but seemeingly no real problem/solution has been found. good clean down and grease to start with see if it helps at all.
  8. not alot of detail given but id prob start by looking for a boost leak
  9. ive signed away cars to mates myself. i dont think they actually check the signature. as long as the address/details are legit and the person actually wants the car its ok in my book......
  10. i hate private plates but a bloke i know has V8 MAX which is pretty valuable apparently. with the above M111 NGR, my mate thinks he saw the numberplate NIGGER not sure the dvla would sell this plate, but hes adamant thats what it said to many people with them now for them to be even slightly interesting
  11. nothing embarrasing about an sp30 in my opinion £60 and 3 points i think. but they want to double it!
  12. looking at your bay id say the boost return isnt doing alot as your running the boost back in form the isv. will lubricate the charger though so not a bad thng. i agree with painting the bonnet to match the car though. other than that looking tidy.

    depends does it not work at all? i can only really reccomend asking if anyone will put it on a vagcom for you. you will know if the sensors are dead then.

    could be a few things but does sound like wiring. if you look at the top of the gearbox you will see a plug with three cables in it. take it off and put it back on. see if it makes any difference. if not they are the cables your chasing to find a fault.
  16. stick with the golf one, think they change on the later mk2's and thats the one you need

    ive had this once, cheap ass dust caps. reacted on. had to have valve cut out and replaced. lesson learned
  18. dont know much of anything about the 8v setup. i believe they are the late style, but could be wrong no reason why any corrado exhaust cant be made to fit though
  19. this does open up a different can of worms though. lots of people have mixed opinions on doing it this way. this is ths second g60 i have done this on and not had problems. i run without a lambda probe.
  20. i only used a blanking plate. i run the boost back into the inlet pipe from the isv. and an oil run off pipe. can see what i mean if you have a look at my bay in the members gallery bit. the g60 ballache
  21. yes i have a boost return delete on mine. as do many. the quality of the kit is the issue for me. it looks like cheap crap and therefore probably is. decats can be bought from ebay too. but gwerks are good quality and reasonably priced.
  22. my advice is dont get it!!!! complete waste of time. depend what four branch you buy as to what you need to fit it. no point having a cat if you dont need one though
  23. yeah its just the smoke im a little concerned over. got a day off on saturday so hopefully compression tester will be here by then. want an answer from that before i go nuts.
  24. stainless 4 branch/decat/exhaust made mine whistle alot more. but it did in the first place. as far as im aware boost return delete will not make it whistle, just give you the dump noise. plus side is it takes away the hot air so everything runs a little cooler.
